Bounty Hunter Archive

I'm a TKM and I love that profession, but I was wondering if I should become a bounty hunter. As it is now, I can be a TKM and 4440 BH, thus being a Teras Kasi bounty hunter. Is this a good idea, or should I drop TKA and use the weapons that a bounty hunter usually does? Also, what's the best weapon to use as a bounty hunter?

If I indeed think the TKM plus all the trees except one in bounty hunter is a good idea, which tree should I leave out?

if you plan on just hunting jedi you should keep tkm and do bh 3/0/0/0 and pick up some fencer defences

with the way everything is now its much easier to take out a jedi if you use melee skills

Well I didn't plan on getting BH just for Jedi hunting. I don't like Jedi, but the thought of being a Bounty Hunter excites me.

An idea I had was:

4000 BH, 0040 Medic, TKM. This way, I can heal myself in combat, and still be a bounty hunter.

I'd say dont become a bounty hunter at all if your not going to hunt jedi because there is nothing else to do. You are so many times stronger as TKM.

Well the template I just described might work.

it would work but like dANEs was saying if you dont plan on hunting jedi i wouldnt even bother getting bh

i dont hunt jedi that often becuase i mostly usebounty hunterfor pve and just something to role play with

Don't get me wrong; I plan on killing, and enjoying killing Jedi as well. I just want BH because I love the idea of it.

I am currently master of combat prowess and have melee def tree. I have 2.5 mil FS reflexes XP stack so can get vehicular control and ranged defense when I get the unlocks. My question is that if I do the paddy trials after getting vehicular control can I go back an unlock ranged defense after becoming a padiwan ?

Isn't melee accurasy the same phase as vehicular control? Well in either case, both will be useful. Once you get the control and try to go back to a normal profs, you'll notice how dramatically slower acceleration is. It's like using snappy movement for so long, and try going back to the old style.
