Thread: I wish there was more mandolorian armor.

Just one set of mandalorian armor on each server, sigh. They should make mandalorian armor have 6000 protection against everything, classified as assault, given full anti-decay(becuase it would be impossible to get enough anti-decay kits to insure it all, andI assume nobody would want to sell it)and you would be able to get it through a special bounty hunt. You would not have to be a bounty hunter to do this quest, it would be similar to the clone commando armor quest. You would go talk to an NPC. He would give you his background, and someone he wants revenge against. You would then recieve a mission, special droids(any droids would work for this mission, but the special droids will be usable by anyone, to insure non-bh's can do this mission too) and then do the mission like any other bounty hunt. The target would be level 80, have two level 50 Super Battle Droid bodyguards, and would be hard to kill. You would then kill him, and return to the NPC you recieved the mission form for your reward.
Tell me what you think, I think it would be very popular!

There is more than one set per server, and the method to earn it should stay insanely difficult to keep it rare, which is how it should be in this time period.

Gathering BH armor pieces and other components, then taking a group with the right crafter to the bottom of the Death Watch Bunker.

the current method is crafting it at the dwb.
An idea like the abovemight be cool but I think it would make mando armor too accesible. Id like mando armor to be something you see once every weeks (so more common then it is now) on somoene and think to yourself "wow thats cool" sorta like jedi used to be but mando armor would never be everywhere like jedi in its population.

Ya, but i have never seen mando armor or jetpack yet, how come no one uses it, if they do the anti-decay thing I mentioned that would be cool.

Go to Yavin 4 and look around until you find a black sun spawn. Approach the Black Sun Assassin and converse with him .. you must avoid any aggro. Convince him to give you a full set of Bounty Hunter Armor.
Now head to Endor and go to the Death Watch Bunker POI. Your goal here is to reach the Death Watch Overlord. Once you locate him, he will direct you to the Alum Mines to get the materials you need.
After obtaining the materials, take them and the Bounty Hunter Armor to Jabba's Palace and talk to Boba Fett. He will send you on a series of very tough quests. Complete the quests and Fett will show you the way to the secret Mandalorian Forges in the bottom of the bunker. Bring your crafters and then let them do their thing.
Enjoy your new suit of Mandalorian Armor!!!

Probably just the server you're on, the low population ones won't have as many as the larger ones. And as for the jetpacks, ADKs don't work on them, and since the CU it seems many NPCs have taken to attacking vehicles.

I realize it would be a "that's cool" thing and lots of people would wear it, but clone commando armor is very popular and is somewhat accesible. My idea is like the same thing as the clone commando armor quest, but a harder version mixed with bounty hunting. The whole pupose of it being anti-decay when you recieve it is so that you don't eventually lose your mando armor, cause no one will want to sell their set, or it will be sold at obscene prices. Either the anti-decay thing, or you would be able to get a new target from the npcand get the mando armor again.

Right now you need jedi to help you get the mando armor. Aint that a kick in the face?

Not so much a kick in the face as a kick to a lower part of your anatomy.
