I dont know why people are saying that pub 20 will make finding marks on kashyyyk impossible. Wehave never been able to track them there anyways and knowing there names doesnt help either. You can still use your informants and find out what instance they are grinding in, but its always a guessing game. You go down you check the jedi and if yours isnt there then you check another instance. Not the end of the world.

there are usually jedi on each instance. having an informant down there is useless, because he'll basically say "yeah, theres jedi here on all the instances except 3" it doesn't really help at all to not have the name.

I just think it isnt that big of a deal, we still have the target attackable, so when we do see him we know its him

a lot of bounty hunters don't just rely on following waypoints to get to their mark. Imagine this, you get to the spot on the Ryatt Trail where all the jedi grind, the one with all the feral wookies. You see 5 jedi and about 30 wooks. You start tabing through all the wooks hoping to eventually get through all of them and see if you target a jedi. Uh oh a wookie agroed you, he's attacking you, you try to tab to see if your jedi is any of those that are there, so you're running around avoiding the wook and you keep trying to tab to your jedi. You probably end up incapped by feral wooks cause you got more on you. You still don't know if your jedi is on that instance.

in the meantime all the jedi there /duel /endduel you and they all know their fates.

If you don't see that there are serious problems with Pub 20, then one ofthree things.

1) You haven't truly read what Publish 20 entails.

2) You don't really hunt Jedi on a regular basis.

3) You are trying to just get a rise out of the BH community for pleasure.

Did you really just say that? Are you serious?

Knowing the names of the jedi down on the Rryatt Trail makes a HUGE difference.

I use to make about 1 mil a night at the Rryatt Trail ALONE. I'd go down to each of the 6 instances and take down the names of every jedi in that instance. After i had a list compiled i'd head back to the BH terms in kaadara and find one of the names on the list. I dont have to waste arakyds or seekers because i know exactally where they are. I go back, they usually arent paying that much attention and are dead before they know it.

if i didnt know their name i couldnt do this...

haha... knowing their names doesnt help either... yeah right.

Even I as a Jedi think that the changes in the upcoming publish are stupid and are a deathblow for BH's everywhere. What organization puts out a contract on a nameless/faceless person? Thats just plain ignorant. "Here is your mission...well we dont know his name but here is a skin sample! Good luck!" Its just pitiful

More and more I see them ruining the best part of this game. BH vrs Jedi. My suggestion would be that once you finish your template, Jedi or BH.. IE all sp spent there is a permaBH/Jedi tef. Anycomplete temp BH could attack any completetemp Jedi, anytime, anywhere. That to me would be a blast. Yes some would whine, so remove xp loss or something to help out the cryers. Leave the inititial attack up toBH only. That way they can still get a drop on you.Or for even more fun......

Make MBH an elite class unlock like Jedi are. Make them a 250sp total class.Once unlocked you train your 2nd(or 1st)toon to be nothing buta BH.Make all skills unique to this "Super BH", that imo would be the best thing for Jedi/BHhunts.No more respec BH, no more dabblers, only the hard core dedicated players would reach suchstatus. Only problem here is that they madeJedi so easy, anyone canreach our status with a 10th of the work now...but thats for another thread Also both Jedi and Elite BH should and would have to be removed from the GCW and set on an invite only pvp tier. Hell that alone would fix most of the problems as they contiue to nerf us both for balance as it pertains to GCW. GCW is stupid and broken anyway and an invite only PvP tier would be awesome.

Sorry to see you guys gettin hit so hard in the coming publish and I think it only hurts the game more =/

I use a Ranger to find my marks. 90% of the Jedi grind in the Ryyatt trails. With my ranger toon, it takes me about 5 minutes to gather up all the names in all instances. With publish 20, it will be a guessing game. Not knowing the Jedi's name almost completely removes our element of surprise. We have to be right ontop of them in order to "Tab" target them. Not knowing the name is 100% in the Jedi's favor. Example, we can be riding to the spot were the mark is, and end up seeing 8 people there. I would have to "Tab" to target, which in some cases doesnt work cause for some reason I sometimes end up targeting things on one side of the screen. This all takes time. Now, lets look at it from the Jedi's point... Since he is in a group, he can easily notice a person approaching. All he has to do is click on that person and type a certain command to expose his attacker, we all know what that command is.... I bet you most of the Jedi will know your his bh before you find him as your mark.......

here goes a jedi ruining it for all the other jedi, and trying to reassure that pub 20 is a good thing. its not, i dont remember how many times i've gotten the /duel /endduel, when u are the only one standing on the path leading down to the feral wookie camp, ur an easy target for jedi to use this exploit to find out if u have their mission.

if u doin have it, they have time to prep, which will kill ur first strike ability. or even gives them a chance to use the LoS exploit too.

on top of that, its also time consuming....u end up getting a friend or a guildmate's mission, then ur back to square 1.

Apparently LOS is not an exploit ? uhuh ok. I sent a ticket off annoyed at the time it took me to track my target only to get a reply back that did not answer the question i put forward. (can't do a clicky plz feel free to quote and clicky for me ) I have edited out names etc for privacy reasons. I say let kashyyk be a "story driven planet" let people kill mobs there but take away the ability to gain XP from it. After all why would you need XP to complete a quest? Only the reward would matter not XP.

What bothers me most about the response you recieved is that they don't seem to grasp that you actually can "live" on Kashyyk. No need for a house. I know about some who "lives" at feral wookie camp and logs at the bridge.

Either they don't have any knowledge about tha game (that was a standard cut an paste answer) or they don't care but don't want to admit it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"There was lots of reading, much too much, in the game. There was a lot of wandering around learning about different abilities. We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."
