We now know that there is NOT a cap on the defense stats.

But what about speed?

Can't answer your question, but when you say defense stats are not capped, are you referring to the idea that Melee Defense is capped at 50?

Yeah, melee defense and ranged defense; devs stated that neither is capped.

But I'm wondering about speed, because I see many people saying that after a certain point it doesn't matter. But then again, people said the same thing about defense...

Gah!! I keep seeing people saying that there is a speed cap of 1 on any weapon. Can anyone prove this speed cap?? (Anyone have a wpn with less than 1 speed?)

I forgot to add in my above post that I have a question. My question is, what does the Two-handed melee speed bonus mean?

I have +75 (I think). What does that equate to in seconds (or whatever time unit the game uses)? is that a .75 second improvement on my weapon?

Does anyone have a substatiated answer? =)

Thanks,

T21 certification is gained at novice rifleman. The rifle speed modifiers are 30%. This gives the t21 (when the cert is gained), a modified speed of 2.31. This gives us a final dps value 125.

-Raph, in the T21 thread.

A novice rifleman has +30 rifle speed by my count. So its a % decrease

So at master, we get +75 speed (without master brawler), if that equates to +75% speed increase, then a hammer of 4.0 speed will be dropped to 1.0 speed?

I have a power hammer with 5.9 speed, so theoretically it should attack at 1.475 (5.9 * .25) which is a 75% reduction, or, in other words, 25% of it's original speed. I've used it before and I'm pretty sure it's not acting like a 1.4 speed weapon. I will double check tonight since I don't use it much though (although maybe I should be!!).

Last time I used the PH, I was fighting Stormtroopers and almost died because of the delay I encountered when I tried to heal myself mid-fight. It's really hard to do heals with a slow weapon because it eats up the spot in the queue that would have been another attack. There's nothing like watching your health creep down while waiting for your heal to kick off and wondering if you're going to make it!

Solaera if you're not using specials it will swing at 1.5 speed approximately.

Basically I'm just asking if there is a cap on how fast a TKM can attack.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I have no desire to go sifting through countless posts when i can just ask.

Thanks in advance for your input.

If I'm not mistaken the cap is 1 second?
