No no no. You messed everything together...
Tracking Droids = what is the maximum number of updates you can get from your tracking droid
Tracking Droid Effectiveness = what is the chance of your droid giving you another update
Droid Precision = chance to avoid being eaten
Droid Speed = Speed of droid when Find is used
Droid Tracking Speed = Speed of droid whenTrack is used
So whether the droid actual manage to report back where you target is currently is, is determined by Tracking Droids and Tracking Droid Effectiveness skills together. Tracking Droids is just the upper possible cap.

I have been told from a friend that is a Bounty Hunter that the tracking droids are broke yet again. If they are, this is sadening seeing as how I wanted to become a Bounty Hunter.

why are you bumping this, yes they are broken, we all know this. Is there a question or discussion that you are looking for a response to?

Ok, so if the droids are broken how in the world do you ever find jedi to kill... or is there another way besides the droids. Forgive my lack of knowleage about BH.

I don't have problems with the droids. If you do this, it should work fine:
Get 10K of Investigation XP, then train 1 & 2. Work up to 3, shouldn't be long.
Once you are at 3, you will rarely lose droidsfor NPC's or Jedi. And it depends upon the server and day. I rarely have problems. Possibly because I play a small server, or we are a lucky server.
Don't stop for BH - keep on going. It is fun and if you know some techniques, you can finish ALL the bounties, even if the NPC is swimming in water.

Okay, so I'm making this great set of armor, and I find this SEA: Tracking Droids +25, Droid Tracking Speed +14
I pop it on after reading, what seems to me, that Tracking Droids skill should give me a higher number of updates on WPs and the speed should reduce the time I wait for them. So, after I install it, I go grab a regular BH mission and let it sit while I track it. I instantly notice that I am getting updates much quicker now, 20 seconds on the nose. However, I still get exactly 12 WP updates instead of, what I thought should be 37, given that MBH has +12 Tracking droids and I was adding a +25 SEA.
Anyone else notice this, or am I just not reading what the skill does correctly?
