kan'aque farsee I think aCMcould be tough on a mdef/mls you could paralyze, apply dots and debuffs, wait for aura and infusion to break, and then lay into them with bomb droid and big guns. rinse and repeat many times til they are out of force 
Mdef/Msabers is one tough template to drop .. prob the toughest!!
Best way is to set up an ambush when they don't have their defense macros running. This can take a lot of patience and time.

Funny, I fought a Mdef that was soloing 2 krayts and he won. Between me and the krayts, we never got his health down past 1/2. Really don't know what hell I'm supposed to do. (MBH/Mcarb) So I would like to know what others do too.
PS: Going MCM is not an option.

just my recommendation...i'm not the greatest bh ever but im not a nub either....is there any way you can get stopping shot? for Mdef if you get em taking a krayt best thing would be to kd, stopping shot, and spam adv critical and legshot...your 2 best damaging moves. you do more damage when they're kd'd. Try to kite them...you can't outdamage them toe to toe so use snares and kd's to your advantage. also run up hills...chances are if he invested points in mdef he'll have crap for terrain negotiate. always use the terrain to your advantage...with 4000 scout chances are you're gonna beat him up the hill.

I definitely don't understand that. Especially say a master pistoleer any reason why a pistol should slow him down? A rifle ok but pistol or Carb??

That is unless My MLS MDEF is wearing her +16 to terrain negotiation clothes in which case if you are holding a ranged weapon I beat ya to the top of that hill

basically if they didn't make ranged guys slower, it would be possible for ranged guys to kite melee toons until they felt like stopping...... and with only using a single kd/root/snare.
to respond to the initial poster. There are probably fewer Mdef than you think. That aura 2 does not an MDef make. Unless you see that avoid incap then dont just assume. look to see if there is also a force armor showing. If so you can almost guarantee that he is not Mdef. I say this cause people often talk crap about me being an Mdef after they give up on me. truth is I have only 1 line of defender now.
If they are indeed a Mdef, Mls (with maybe 4040 heal or 3000heal 0002 enh) dont worry much about it. just drop the mission consider it a loss and move on or wait until you have another friend or see him gettin beat up by krayts. the bh that tlk you he attacked a jedi soloing "TWO" krayts and lost is full of it. nobody intentionally goes after 2 krayts. if he had 2 on him ,he was running (as a former mdef I can tell you that mdef dont help against that specially now since the ai snares you).
Here is your consolation. Unless you really really suck, that MLS, Mdef probably cant kill you either unless you make a really dumb mistake. We can take a beatin but cant dish out enough to kill any but the weakest bh. Thats why I dropped it in lieu of some enhancer.
