I am not yet a weaponsmith but I do know some sites that have resource lists for schematics and the only specific metals needed for it are Ditanium Steel(Not sure of it's rarity) and Polonium Iron( which I think is very rare,a weaponsmith can correct me if I'm wrong). I used a resource search tool and it said niether is availible on your server right now.

I am told by weaponsmiths that certain resources needed are not available yet ingame. I'm coming here to forum to find out if that's true...

I'm thinkin of taking up the novice carbine tree for the extra modifiers but most of all for the Elite Carbine certification.

I know that somehow the T21 is bugged as AC0 as I have tried it and it does the same or less damage than a E11 Rifle...

I know that the DX2 sucks because, well, the guy who makes my weapons told me it does.

Now with this other elite marksman profession, I never seen a elite carbine for sale, never seen the stats, of it, and never seen a picture of it.

Does anyone have any stats or pictures on it. Also don't forget to include the Armor Piercing class and please point me to a picture!

Its a horrible piece of junk, i prefer ee3 or laser anyday over that junk.

now that i've seen laser carbines, i can say whole-heartedly that the elite is an inferior weapon by far. the average damage (min + max)/2 for both work out to be around the same with the highest quality of both i've seen (i think the average was like 5 in favor of laser). they both do the same type of damage (energy), but the largest difference is the armor pierce2 on the laser. this blows away the elite carbines ap1. ham costs were 23/46/25 on laser, 26/42/24 on elite. i still haven't seen an ee3 on chilastra, but i also haven't been looking too hard. its supposed to have ap0 with heat damage and fire in a cone. this means that to a group of enemies w/o resist to heatwill take massive damage, but if they DO have heat damage then it'll have very little effect.

in the end, i'd say use a laser carbine (if you can find one) for most situations, and an ee3 (if you can find one) for the specialized instances. again, this is going just by what i've seen on the boards for the ee3, i haven't been able to test it myself. i also haven't been able to test the dxr6 carbine, and don't remember anything about it...nope, still can't.

yeah, doesn't matter what the HAM is on the carbines, seen ones with 24/27/23 HAM and still our skills take over 100 from health and action. It's just plain stupid

well im just saying its really noticable with my elite carbine. With the others it just took away from my action pool but my elite takes alot from all 3. Its like im shooting a giant super cannon that im taking damage from the recoil and over-heating as I shoot itinstead of a smooth military issue carbine....

The elite carbine is crafted from a very very poor metal called plumbum iron. As a result ham costs and damage are not what they should be for a weapon of this level requirement. If you saw a laser carbine made of the same stuff it would have high HAM costs too.

Either the plumbum iron has to be removed as a requirement for the elite (as it was from commando and the LLC) or plumbum has to be given a massive boost so that it comes in a 900+ conductivity 900+ OQ like other metals can.
