Unless you have been hiding under a rock you should be aware that Publish 20 introduces some major changes to the BH-Jedi relationship. The dev saw 2 problems with the BH system:

This is what they publicly stated about the issues:

1) They did not like BHs bottom feeding. That is, they did not approve of BHs only hunting low paying Jedi.

Solution: Jedi payouts are now hidden on the terms. A BH has no idea how much the bounty on the mark is until after they complete the mission.

2) The Devs did not approve of BH gank squads and wanted 1 on 1 fights.

Solution: Remove Jedi names from the terminals. Now a BH only sees the faction of the Jedi (which we didnt get before...not like I care ).

So basically this means the end of the gank squads and full template Jedi will see more visitations from BHs. Especially since group visibility has been removed, low level padis shound have an easier time staying off the terms.

Since the CU there is typically a crowd of BHs standing around the terms. I wonder if the ranks of Jedi Hunters will thin out now that haveing a run in with a full template is likly to occur. I expect there to still be BHs since the template is a great base for any ranged template. The question is if people will still be hunting Jedi.

Only ones that will leave MBH will be ones that are weak and impatient.

I think only the elite and a few fools may continue to hunt.

Ill stay with the prof no matter what.

The sad thing is I wonder if the old timers will stick around. Not because times are any worst than before -> pre-CU saber block was real downer. But because they are just getting sick of the roller coaster ride.

Yeah everyone can say that BH who leave are all the sucky ones and ones who don't want a challenge (especially jedi). However this isn'ttrue. Many are just overly frustrated with the multiple disadvantages just afforded to them as a BH now. I have already been informed by many of my BH friends they are leaving SWG and many were very good BH. SWG will be losing many good people over this crap and for a BH to support these decisions and viewpointsis absolutely ignorant and blind to gameplay.

I'm not doing it anymore. I've been hunting jedi since the missions were implemented, got MBH about 3 months after game launch, and never dropped the Master box.

Who in their right mind would spend countless hours & $15/month to surf the terminals for a mission that is online, not on kashyyyk, and also a killable target? Of the 200 jedi missions on the terminals, there might be 20 that are able to attack, and even fewer that you are able to beat 1v1. Even if you were patient & lucky enough to get those specific missions, there is no way to tell you haven't pulled the same mission twice!!! OUTRAGEOUS.

Iam / was a reputable /patient hunter on my server & even created the most reputable BH guild on my server, but this is just too much for even me to handle.

I agree that hunting full templates is not a sky is falling situation. Yes, it is difficult. Yes, they are much more difficult to kill. But there are ranged templates now that can compete with these Jedi. To be honest, after being a MBH during the reign of the TKM BHs which lasted a year plus, the current situation is more than I hope for.

However, given the difficulty, I do think there will be a reduction in hunters as those who grew accustomed to wasting low level padis will not accept the new challenge at hand.

man a full temp jedi doesnt mean anything im a jediand have a few MBH toonsand theres alot of crap jedi temps out there, just cause he or she is full doesnt me there a double master MLS MDef they might be Mhealer or enhancer with a buch of useless crap, wich i should say nothing on jedi skills are useless just not used right or have no combat uses.

I see nothing wrong with the pub 20 deal, if ya went into BH to bottom feed as alot of youdid well NERFED LOL but i never feared ya or had any respect but thos so few BHs with the gear,skill and knowledge are just as dangerouse as theyve ever been and im sure ill being seing them as nothing ever happened..

its about time leave the bounty hunting to bounty hunters and toilet scum suckers get flushed.............

a good BH isnt gonna care but is gonna try you never know how high you can go till ya get there and youll never get there bashing on low cl padi's
