yes this and targets not even appearing at the wp or on radar in big cities, im talking about launching 2 seekers in a row and still gettting the same wp with no npc.

Fix it yourself. If you see that the WP is in the middle of a lake, river, or whatever. Just let your seeker droid expire its search without you going to the waypoint, and send another seeker after 1st one loses the target. Next WP it gives you on the planet will be in a different spot.

My favorites are the ones that spawn inside battlefields.

Or how about the ones that spawn in the DWB?

Didnt know a jedi master had a bh alt.

I agree though. Sure as an above poster mentioned, there is a workaround. I dont want any workarounds. I just want a fix. Plain and simple =)

They will always move, eventually. The initial seeker sometimes sticks on a location. You have to wait until the waypoint moves, usually on the second seeker charge but sometimes not until the third. The waypoint will start moving at the normal 180 m/min. Wait patiently around 500m from the edge of the water and you should always get your mark. In the old days we all knew this.

Quick logging usually fixes this for me.

the problem is only for moving targets...

You never know where they will run and sometimes, they will run into some water areas

Back to the time when invest 4 missions where only worth 100 BH xp and when i was a BH, i had this issue several time in planets like naboo, rori or lok : the mark was going through a large watered area -> mission incomplete...

A solution would be to check the NPC route and make them turn before they enter water area.... Which also mean that tracking would become harder because NPC moves would be random !

Small water area -> danger, could cancel the mission -> changing direction....

I know investigation is not that hard to get anymore and that droid track at master is fast, but random moves would be quite a pain !

After a few mission cancelled this way (the "mark dead by sink" effect), i opened map more frequently, zooming on it to see if my mark was about to run into watered area.... Sometimes getting on the other side and waiting for it.....
The last i did was on yavin, my mark coming from north west to the north outpost -> going through water.... I just set a camp and waited for my mark.... And killed it after a few minuts chatting with a friend that was around.

I do prefer the NPC to make straight courses instead of implementing a sort of "solution" that would only make NPC moves random.... and random is bad

As long as you do not get within 500 meters of the mark... it will ALWAYS move....

The work around mentioned above has worked every single time for me without fail...

For the NPC in the city not showing up....

Either shuttle out or starport out of the city and come back... the mark will have moved and you can continue the mission....

That as also worked every single time for me...

I have only had to drop 2 missions out of about 600 in total.
