My own Jedi experience today.. if it had worked I thought it would have been a well executed plan... even if he was a fellow reb.

DISCLAIMER, and no I had nothing to do with the BH group that stormed in.

Rebel BHs killing Light Jedi. Wow talk about making bad blood in the community.

I can't even begin to say how much this bothers me.

I think its a great idea. Too bad it didnt work out in the end. You got a chance to get an easy kill. I damn sure would have taken it. And kudos to you for putting profession above allegenice.

I agree with Asni, you gotta do what you gotta do. I think we all would have done it that way.

I'm glad the knee-jerk "omg greefing" responses in that thread quickly gave way to more reasonable fare.

My favorite part was when he said the "Dark Jedi" hopped on his speeder to run then LOGGED OFF! Lame azz! Take your beating like a man.

What about the Jedi and Dark Jedi in the same group? The Devs are slipping BIG TIME!

Well....there is something totally wrong with this faction system anyway. BHs and Jedis should each have a faction of their own - BHs may work for the Empire and the Rebs if it fits their benefits and Jedi should be able to assist the Reb's from time to time if they choose so but both classes shouldnt be allowed to permanently join the rebs/imps. That way would even fit a bit better into the "SW-Universe". I mean: I can recall reading in the manual that the Empire hunts Jedi (no matter whether they are dark or light) but yet Jedi's can join the Imps? Juhuuu...Mr Vader - wakey wakey. You are looking for forcewielders? Maybe check your own ranks.

As for BHs: Imo the most iimportant thing for a BH is cash. If you want a problem solved permanently, you donate a few creds, hire a BH and watch your headaches dissapear. If the Empire pays well - then surely you should be allowed to kill a Jedi. Works the same way around: If a Rebel pays enough to take out an Imperial player....you get my drift. This way you would also finally fix the issue of BHs only being able to hunt down Jedi - lets widen this out to other classes aswell imo.

Just my two cents...

In the beginning there was nothing. God said: "Let there be Light." And there was Light. There was still nothing but you could see it a whole lot better.

I enjoyed it immensly.. however though, I really was a little upset at being called an exploiter and a griefer. Was just doing my job.

Hey, Unfetered. This is Ra'el Penumbra, one of the Bounty Hunters that messed up your hunt. It was an awesome plan, and it would have been well executed. I apologize again for our unintentional jump in on your mark. I messed up, and I owe you, mano. Send me a /tell ingame if you ever need some help.

I deeply regret interfering in a fellow hunter's bounty. It was not intentional. With the rancors and the players about, it got confusing and I messed up the target. It was lame, and I don't hold my head up with much pride because of it. My error lead to the incompletion of both bounties. First day of hunting Jedi, and my enthusiasm, I guess, got the best of me. You were a stand-up guy, even grouping with us to try and hunt both marks, though mine logged and yours hid in-house.

You aren't a griefer or exploiter, mate. We are hired to kill a contract. Sometimes a frontal assault isn't prudent. It takes strategy, cunning, and duplicity, sometimes, to get a mark. Look at Jango in the second movie? He had no trouble blasting one Jedi, but it was due to surprise. What happened when he went head on against one? I think I remember a certain shiny helmet go rolling across the sand.

I don't consider the rebel BH that was grouped with the Jedi to be a BH at all. My motto, "Hunt first, Faction second." I'd love for there to be a Hutt faction, but there isn't. Bounty Hunters are in it, by and large, for the credit, so I joined up with the Empire (because they are supposed to have the most of it). I don't care that my mark was a Dark Jedi. He was a mark. He ceased being a person to me the moment I got his name from the terminals. He was an acquisition.

I've learned a lot since that failed attempt. I'm going to be more careful in the future. Also, I hope that I'll have the cleverness and quick-thinking to take advantage of a situation like Unfetered did. Hats off to him.
