Did you know that you actually grief yourself by choosing a proffession that has XP loss as a part of it?
Sounds like you probably shouldnt have chosen to be a Jedi if you cant take it

Its not griefing.
Its not griefing its a poorly implemented and under tested system designed to ruin the game for a lot of people because rather than make other professions worth while they make it so if you want one of the few decent professions youll get stuck in a negative xp cycle because like it or not people will get visability with reasons like lag and such.
Im no longer hunting jedi and if i choose to hunt jedi i will not db SOE have really messed things up and its effecting both jedi and non-jedi I was at MO earlier tracking and people are complaining about it because they are unable to get a group because it is no longer worth it.
This doesnt just effect jedi this effects everyone especialy new players to the game who i suspect will not stay around long when they see how long things will take.
Being I have a jedi knight, from back in the day, and temp is done and all, I must say, honestly glad I retired the account. I am a full time BH now, have been for almost a month, and I will gladly repeatdly hunt any jedi possible. At a CSR Event on starsider the other day, I saw just how much the jedi population had BOOMED, and it's sickening.

CM, Medic, Doc, Ranger, Squad Leader just to name a few, all professions that depend on groups for xp, (a ranger needs people to kill what they harvest and docs need people to heal). Now nobody will want to group with them unless they have to.
A CM/Rifles type character wont need anyone because they can heal themselves, but many other professions are going to be left standing at Nyms starport with all looking at each other. Especially newer players.
Bring back saber TEF, and a death system like what UO used to have for murderers. Get killed, your a blue glowly for XX hours/days before you can clone.
Its stupid how many jedi are out there. You go to theed and there are 10 of them dueling like idiots, a BH shows up and most the time doesnt stand a chance.
Back to the UO system, id like to be able to murder people, but as a consequence after XX kills, id be labeled a murderer and id be on the terminals no matter my profession. But PvP isnt set up that way in SWG, so i know that will never happen.
Ive never PvPd in SWG because there is no reward to it. It costs money to PvP here. In UO, you could murder someone and take as much of their stuff as you could carry away, it had a reward, and a real risk.

So uh... being glowy isn't losing game time (as you can't do anything in the game), but setting them back on grinding is? ![]()

The XP Nerf is up and running. A Jedi told me that he was getting around 90xp per kill w/insp buff... they used to get 1k to 1.2k per kill before. Now that XP is 10x harder to get, let's start grabbing some!

ahhh I'd love to see saber tef back... and I do like that blue glowy idea, but only if you get killed by a player and only for an hour or so
