Is it me, or does there seem to be a major dislike towards the whole Jedi situation amungst the entire SWG community?
Personaly I hate, detest and have major contempt for the entire Jedi class. This is just my opinion though, and I am one of those "Bought the game to be a MBH, and that is all I want to play" people.
But I have been noticing that the more people I talk to around the Scylla galaxy, the more I find that they really detest the Jedi and the Jedi/Dev situation at the moment too. I mean, most people feel the same as we MBH's do. They do not want them in the game at all, or to be limited severely... And for the same reasons we do.
Of course there are plenty of people going for their FS slot right now as well, but alot of them are only doing it now because they know the path to Jedi right now, and later they will not.
Have you-all found this to be true as well?

Yeah, for every 1 person I know that wants to help the Jedi i know about 10 that wanna kill em.
Dunno if this is because they have anything against them or just fancy being able to say they killed one, either way i dont care we need all the help we can get.

I've really only seen three groups that hate the Jedi situation.
1. The Bounty Hunter Community
2. Hologrinders that are afraid the path will change before they unlock their jedi
3. People that can't find a decent crafter because everyone is hologrinding

The sad thing is that there ARE Jedi who play their characters as they are meant to. I have no problem with these getting the power they have at Guardian level (read RanShino's latest experiences about fighting one).
The problem is the totally borked system that spawned the number of Jedi we have now (no new insight, I know). And a lot of those are simply powergamers who couldn't care less about Star Wars and just want to be leet... having seen a Jedi on the Flurry forums use terms like "u p*ssy", "i wouldve pwned u" and so on really turned my stomach.
Those are the rotten apples that spoil the bunch, alongside with the whiners. Those are the ones generating hatred towards an entire class.

The problem with the Jedi system is that the Devels gave the Jedi characters to the wrong people. The way the Hologrinding worked, the only people who got Jedi slots were the ones who can play all day and are powergamers. These people (in general) aren't really geared toward RP'ing a Jedi much, and I really feel the Jedi class should be heavy on RP'ing. Jedi during this time period just tried to do good things quietly, not get together in a group of 10 and attack Bestine.
