With a greater number of jedi marks becoming moreexperienced in fighting the McM Build, I spent an evening trying to come up with a more leftfield, unpredictable, kind of template.
To this end.. I respecced my MBE to MBH/Mrifles/NovSmuggler.... with 2 ranged arms
The idea behind this non healing template was simple... Hit fast.. Hit hard... If all else fails..... RUN!!!!!!
The basic tactic (if you can call it a tactic
) is... Fly in on speeder... Pop a pyro... Jump off speeder.... Prone.... Sniper3/Underhand/Concussionshout/Imp.Aim/sniper3/HeadHit..... If he go's down... run in for DB.. (this often needs a 2nd incap)... If he dont go down... kite and hit a stim till the concussion recyles.... pull bike and head for the hills
Results so far out of 7 missions... 3 marks dead... 4 times I legged it
...
I must say... its a refreshing difference from McM... if perhaps a touch less reliable
Try it .. its fun.

I was MBH/Master Smuggler/0400 pistols for a long time. I don't think I ever had a fight last more than a minute with that one--I was mostly on the losing end, but it was fun. I could outlast anyone in PVE with that template though. Boy do I ever miss feign death.

Yep, exactly what I do. I get a doc buff, eat my foods (crispic and pyro included), /prone, /aim, snipershot + KD + Startle + Critical...then I get up and prepare to Headshot + Critical for the second incap so I can get the DB. So far, it's worked every single time to incap.

Sounds strange but I happen to like this tactic...As long as you continue to hit the Jedi dog over and over again over the course of 3 days or he dies...which ever comes first.
Planning similar tactics with Master Ranger...they are very efficient burst runners and terrainnegotiators (very fast runners). Use that in conjunction with a little parawan nut bread and you have yourself an escape button.
The comming changes to the Ranger tree will make this tactic particularly attractive.

if you eat crispic then pyro, pryro will override crispic. thus all your doing is stuffing your belly with plain ole stuffing. wont help you.
