Thread: Carbine Question
I always thought carbines were grenades and thermal detonators... today i looted a carbine from a some savage near my guild hall and it looke like a gun. So what exactly is a carbine... what is it used for... and what is the carbineer profession based upon?
Supposed to be something in between pistols and rifles range/damage wise, and have alot of (broken) AE attacks higher up. Basically some sort of automatic weapons of swg.

I use a DH17... Real elite there... almost master Carbineer aslo :/
I carry a selection of carbines to meet whatever needs I require. Usually a well sliced EE3 heat carbine for most things, and a Laser Carbine for those enemies with armor. I never found the Elite to be a great weapon, sliced or not.
What does anyone else have?

well, i carry 4 carbines
I use the DXR6 for something that is weak against acid or with 20 meters ( since its only -11 at close range ) its like 101 - 154 with 2.3 speed ( speed sliced )
I use my Lasor Carbine for something that is Armored, at long range ( since it has the best long range mod, and the best medium range mod as well ) its like 38 - 287 2.1 speed ( speed sliced )
I use my EE3 against unarmored mobs, something weak against heat espcially. its like 87 - 224 and 2.9 speed ( damage sliced )
I do carry an elite carbine, it isnt a horrible gun i suppose. its like 74 - 174 with 3.4 speed ( damage sliced. lol ) i dont really use it at all. except to bust openlairs and things like that to try and save a little wear and tear off of my real guns.
