well that is simply because

1- the art department was confused when they made the "treasures of Mustafar" FF and put the wrong stats up for EVERYONE to see

2-Mis-comunication between the comunity relations department and teh programing department, we appologise and will try to make sure that doesnt happne again

3-We intentionally put the beta stats up to lure people into the expansion with these amazing weapons

4-This is a known problem and the development team is working on a solution (ticket closed)

now out of the 4 answers there to why the stats differ SOOOOOOOOO much from what was posted in the FF and what is live, only ONE will not get me hired at SOE as a DEV/CSR.

(and yes i know those were beta stats but when advertised ina FF they should be the live stats)

You know why they didnt put up the live stats?
Because there would be a million posts saying "W T F is that garbage!!oneone!!".

That and they like building hype for an expansion that has gotten middling reviews from the beta team.

But hey, at leasts your not a crafter/entertainer, now they got the shaft.

The DP-23 rifle from the quest was crap in beta, and it's crap now.

If you want a well-made DP-23 rifle, you'll have to find the combination of magic loot in order to put it in the magic cube to get the schematic, which is no-trade.

Once you find the combination of magic loot that makes the schematic, post it for everyone to see. Then go back and get the magic loot again so you can givethe magic lootto one of the few Weaponsmiths who bought the expansion, and let them make the rifle.

Well Jedi in the Jedi forums posted about 15 topics complaining about that particular rifle. Maybe someone read one of the threads.

actually, nobody reads the jedi forums, they all just go there to whine, not read

the literates of SWG have long since learned to stay away from that evil place

what quest do u do to get the rifle?

thanks for the replies all, i thought that was the rifle from beta ya alot of these weapons that made live are worthless. what the hell you going to do with weapons that high in SAC and can't pup to reduce.
