Top 5 reasons for not hunting Jedi:

5: the BH-Ueber-Loot-Missions

4: the Perl / Crystal drop

3: the cl60 200DPS Padawans

2: older jedi are as strong but have much more to loose

1: Nerf-Hammer moving closer to BH

5) The loot isn't "uber". In the same time you spend farming BH missions you could be hunting Krayts to get lots more.

4) See above.

3) Why, these are quick money. They shouldn't be getting vis if they're CL60 anyway. That's like going SF if you're CL20 and complaining when someone one-shots you.

2) How? A full temp has NOTHING to lose by having a BH kill them.

1) Think again, bud.

The top reason you should hunt jedi is that it is FUN.

I've hunted many jedi with my alt character , and i enjoy both sides of the game , the hunter and the hunted.

Its good that a jedi has to constantly look over his/her shoulder incase of attack , thats how it should be.

Keep on Stalkin BH's

lol lol lol!

5: BH Uber Loot ------> seems to be true, because our guildchat is spammed by delighted shouts "Wow I've looted an uber CA/AA again"

4: Pearl/Crystal drop -------> The drop rate is ok, if u think the GOOD pearl/crystal is ok.. and the Tune seems to be broken as well, because u have 80+% chance for a crap tune...

3: Why hunting low lvl paddies? disgusting.. They don't even know how they get vis, and how to avoid being on terms..

2: Hmm.. here I don't get the point tbh.. They loose XP and rating as well (but a grinding paddy loose these as well) BUT a full temp loose 452k Xp via BH kill.. Mr BH just count that a cl80 jedi get 1/6 XP of a cl80 Normal prof... So check out pls how happy to grind out 2 712 000 XP when u're fed up with grind and want to do something else

1: lol True... BH need NERF

i completely agree... im a jedi myself... have been 1 of best BH on my server also a long time ago... well pre cu anyway...

ur right a full temp jedi has nothing to loose.. infact full temper's enjoy the odd BH coming along... its a bit like overt pvp but fair 1 v 1 instead of 8 ganking 1... much more fun

BUT!!! those poor non finished temped jedi /points at self have soo much grinding to do its unbelievable... and its pretty fooking hard to stay of terms these days... so always everywhere u go a BH got ur mission n u dont know.. n u die.. n loose another 300-450k xp... i mean .. for those who grind afk on kashh.. they deserve to die.. they are grinding afk not enjoying their proff and wish to finish without putting effort in.. in the real world u only get out of what u put in.. so it should be the same here and jedi shudnt be allowed to grind afk!!

but killing noob jedi's is not the most fairest thing to do .. coz its pretty much the same as fightinmg a cl 20 normal proff... as a noob jedi will deal sh1t damage and have low health and cant heal much.. so they lost b4 they started...

sum BH would say well ur fault for being on terms.. but not being on terms atleast 1 time every 3 days max is impossible...

so conside3r who u are hunting.. b4 u hunt them i ask

How is it hard to stay off the terms now? You get no visibility from groups, so don't go PvPing until you're full temp (or near it.) It's easier to stay off the terms than ever.

Well sir, as my prob 30th profession i have chosen BH. I am now 3044 and started with 0 bh xp. So i am pretty sure that i have as much right to be in this fourm as you. MHOis that player bountys should not exsist, i don't think they will for much longer and i for one am glad. It is the only profession in the game that can tell another profession what they are going to do with there game play at any certain time. I am not sure why SOE thought they could put in a system where a player class could hunt another Player class and make it work.

Think about the following chases pls.:

1: Someone who can only afford 1 max 2 hrs of grind/day on a week, and can't find grp every day. He is grinding a Tier 4 box, and have only 100k left... a BH comes and get his grind back with several days... cool

2: U just got the XP for a Master box, and want to go get it trained.. A BH comes and slain u, u loose 2-300k Xp... cool

3: U fed up with grinding as a full temp, and want to do quests or PvP.. A BH comes and slain u.. u loose 450k Xp.. Oh yes, back to grind...

There are some (very rare) BHs who don't want ot ruin others game, so they just incap, and give u a chance to pay him out. Respect to the BHs like this.

How bout this scenario, happened to me, I was working on a 1.6mil box, I was 20k from getting it, and that's when the BH showed up to hook me up with a trip to the cloaner. Now all the people I grind with all get the noob respec BH's, I always get the damn BH/CM so he had all the poisons applied before I could even get the pickets off me.

I new before it even began that I was gonna lose, but I fought valantly and in the end died when I ran out of force. Because it was one of the last boxes before I was full template I lost 435k of xp, which at the time I was fairly irritated about (I was only about 20 pickets from being trained), but in the end, I was able to get the xp back in 3 hours (Group fell apart pretty quick so we weren't going at a ver fast clip and it was late at night) but I did get it back.

Losing xp is just part of being jedi. You need to calculate the potentiial loss of xp in any gain you make. I know that I can expect a bounty hunter to come for me at least once ever 3 or 4 days so I need to plan my grinding around that. I have also noticed a trend that they tend to come for me more at night then during the day (so prolly because of the terminal nerf to only give online jedi).

If you want to have the advantages of the Jedi Profession you need to also take the Risk. That's just the way it is.
