I get an e-mail from a CSR saying that many Jedi have accused me of having friends spam "offer ride" to them while I hunt them. I have never done this, and furthermore, I hunt alone. Oh well, but then I got after my fresh new target on Kashyyyk at everyone's favorite grinding spot. When she sees she can't win, she goes to the line-of-sight bug area and LOGS OFF! A known exploit. Screenshot below.

A CSR pretty much has to witness things like this to ban a player. Don't worry about it. I had a few Jedi try to get me banned before. A CSR didn't contact me, but they tried to get a Jedi that was friends with me to help them do it.

Well lets say I kill a Jedi. They now hate me. The best way to get revenge is to get several friends to file a false accusation with a CSR. There is obviously no proof on what they are accusing me because it didn't happen. But why would a CSR even threaten to take action against me without such proof?

You might have killed his jedi once.


He may have not meant to come off as threatening you. You have to remember CSRs catchcrap all day from idiots. They won't ban you without proof. Worse thing that will happen is they may keep a eye on you to see if your doing what you have been acussed of.


Edit: Also CSRs don't have the authority to ban players. They have to hand the info off to the community manager (think thats the title) and he/she decides.

From a jedi POV, the trial and the LOS bug need to be fixed asap.


sure, we've had bugged spawns before such as the geo cave, 00 endor, warren. but it was possible for BH to actualy kill their mark there. With the LOS bug, new jedi seem to have a care free way of grinding. And now with double xp back, we'll be seeing people fresh out of the village able to complete their templates in a few weeks.


Personaly i dont care if it upsets a few BH's. but something like this has a large negitive impact on the game as a whole.

The sooner you learn that CSR's tend to side with Jedi, the better off you'll be.

It could've been a fake email intended to scare you off of hunting that Jedi and yes, SOE SWG as a whole will play favorites and almost always side with the Jedi.

Oh, you mean like THIS attempt....LOL. I love when Jedi try to pull BS like this.

I have the auto-decline group invites turned on...I WISH there was one for rides...

I did end up killing this Jedi BTW. Don't let it get you down. I swear though, if you really wanted to thin out the Jedi population, I should just have a CSR follow me around fro ONE day. Between the exploits I witness, the hate /tells, and the system abuse....man, I swear they would have enough "evidence" to ban at least 5 people a day.

That doesn't make sense. Why would the CSR email you saying that you had been accused of spamming? Didn't the CSR investigate it? If the CSR didn't find any evidence against you....then why send you the email?

Usually i would suggest the CSR should E-Mail the person that actually spammed the "offer-ride-request".
