Thread: First Kill!

So I get Inv.3 and I heard theres no better way to grind Inv 4 then killin jedi so I try some. I got about 5 that were on kashyyk, I even tried looking for them there... wow is that place a pain in the ass. So I drop it and say screw it if this one isnt on a real planet Im doing npcs.
Low and behold I get one on dantooine. I get there and hes 1k north of MO. I run up on him and hop off the speeder and begin attacking, Im not sure what to do and kinda nervous in anticipation. I see him and hes at 1/4 and tanking, I say screw it im not in this to play fair and I was kinda worried that even at that health he would still beat me.
So I fire off a root then knockdown, I then do imp leg shot and imp crit shot, I hit him for about 500 a shot (this good/bad? he absorbed about 400-500 a shot.) so after 3 shots hes incapped, Im shaking trying to type out /deathblow (is that even the command?) and it doesnt seem to do anything. He pops up and heals to half, so I knock him down again and imp crit shot him for about 750 then leg shot for another 500 and hes incapped, try death blow again and no go. I end up incap'ing him 1 more time then I get the bounty but Im not sure if I actually death blowed him or if after so many incaps he just dies.
Anyone want to comment?

No, you didn't get the db, but 3 incaps is the equivalent. Sucks for him even worse, because a PVP triple incap means item decay.
You might consider making a /deathblow hotkey.

first off, congrats on the way you thought your not in this to be fair, and on your kill, and when i hit my targets, im doing wiht certain moves up to 2k damage, but still, thats not bad that you did that at all, and a jedi grinding on DANTOOINE, a rare rare find these days, lol, well, im glad that you did that, and happy hunting to you in the future

excellent im glad you killed him, dont worry about unfairness, if you ever go pvp, ull get slain by big groups of jedi, they show no remore why should we. normally to DB , i just right click the target and select deathblow.
congrads on your 1st jedi kill

With double Xp in full force, jedis seem to be hunting in the open now. Congrats on the first kill. For a deathblow target the incapped jedi and use the radial menu to deathblow. I too dont like to triple cap because of the iten decay, having an Xp loss is hefty enough.
He may not have hit you because he may have been in combat with an NPC and didnt see you. I don't understand why some jedi don't pop up their combat log when fighting. They would see everything hitting them. Can't believe I said that out loud.

First of all, congrats on the Kill. You're right, Bounty Hunters are Predators, not Durnies, so leave fair off your list.
Second, I'm a reletively new BH. Didn't respec to MBH when I could, I wanna earn it. I haven't hunted Jedi yet, but I look forward to it. Ofcourse, not my Guildies ( they've all been to good and generous to me, and even a mercenary should have some honor), but those not of my guild and faction? All I can say is " I'm watching, and if you falunt your saber, your robes, and act in an unsportsmanlike way towards other players, you become fair game to me." No, I don't take this too seriously, after all, it is a game. I'll fight honorably (unlike some Jedi I've seen), and I'll give you respect, but I'll kill you just the same.
Nothing personal.

Jedi have nothing that decays unless he was wearing bio clothing. Saber doesnt decay and jedi robes dont decay.

To avoid getting the nerve spelling errors on the DB command (which is something you'll 'grow out of' in no time 
) you should press ctrl-a in game and make a /deathblow command and stick the shortcut in your quickslots.
