If you have the patience and skill to use it right, it's a blast. Your target won't know you're there until you almost right ontop of em.
Last night my target left his bike out, so all he sees is a dot on the radar pop up out of no where 55 m from him, and his bike is disabled. He ran, I burst ran. I caught up to em, and you can guess what happened.

Does concealshot give away your cover to other players if you're not attacking them?
And if you ARE concealshotting them, can they see you?

Combat spam says your name if you fire at anything then they can just /target you

Aye, conceal shot doesnt make you show up on map but its not hard to get targetted and approached. Even without the target its far from difficult to trace lasers back to a source.
I always found it more effective to kick off with a sniper shot just as they had taken a significant amount of dmg from whatever they're grinding. This way they heal at the same time or just after and are thrown out by it and if you play your specials right you can keep them backpeddling into a one way trip to the cloner.

Does the case where a player isn't attacking (or in combat) and takes damage, it automatically targets the damager? I know it does in PVE (excuse the english... just worked a 7 hour shift on 30 minutes of sleep)
That could be kinda lame...

Im not completely certain but I don't think that happens with conceal shot.
As someone else said I think the only reason for it would be to take out a vehicle.

Conceal shots dont appear in the combat spam, they wont know what hit them. And tracking the shots? Jedi are too dumb
