I haven't had it used against me but I heard if you get close to the Jedi you will still be able to see them when they use it.

It seems like a stupid, random, made up move in my opinion. Oh wait, I forgot that 99% of the Jedi in the first three movies were using it.

Are they completely invisible? I was tracking a mark today and he stopped in the Theed Cantina, my waypoint pointed there to a spot by the performers but he wasn't visible. A /friend still showed him as online. I tried a new Seeker but it came up with the same spot. A little later he logged.

Is it likely that he used Force Cloak to hide himself, then logged off in the Cantina?

yes they are invisible. the droids track them fine and u can see them force run they still have the trails at their feet but no targeting them. geez between this and the mobile homes they are hard to track down lol. why can t they just fight it out? seems like they want to gank or go home no one on one with the exception of a few

did it last night and my /target macro still worked.... even while he was cloaked inside a house.

But alass, there is no way to break it. wellll...... mostly.

The more people that are within 32m of the jedi, the more force power it takes to use the cloak... so you can actually drain them very quickly. And when force is out.... so is cloak... and so are heals.

You can target them using "/target <name>" but you can't attack them "directly"..../wink

And unless you got about 8 people, and the jedi is somewhat lame you are not going to drain they're force to the point it goes off leaving them defenseless.

Having just 3 or 4 people around the jedi can just channel that force loss off.

actually, 2 of my "associates" were able to nearly drainone enough last night before he made it to his guild hall. If I had been able to find the mission sooner... I'd have gotten there the same time as my friends and would have been able to drain him enough for sure.

But... if he's got a house nearby... you're right... it won't happen.

I just don't know about that... its not that 2 people couldn't drain the jedi, but your talking at least 8 - 15 mins to do it.... also nothing to keep the jedi from just getting up and running off or channeling.

I mainly try to fight out my fights first before attempting to run and cloak. Only had to run and cloak once to a BH so far, but here's a hint on draining their force... Vehicles are currently being counted as an NPC/creature and will drain their force as well if they're cloaked. Not sure if it's a bug or not (seems like it) so up to you if you think using a vehicle to add extra force cost to cloak or not is an exploit.

Happy hunting, and that's your tip of the day from a Jedi/BH.
