Thread: Template Change Idea Please help

I am currently a MBH/MRM/Pistoleer xxx3 Medic xx2x I am Considering a change in my Temp to have a MBH/MRM/and 1 line in CM.

Could I get some input on which line would assist me best in BHing?

I have a Jedi Friend that is a finished template and got killed by a MBH, Master COmbat Medic. He was caught offguard and he got poisoned to drain action and mind pools so he couldn't heal

I agree with the suggestion, sadly it's the way the devs had made doc/CM, far more powerful than Jedi's healing so blend that in with your favorite ranged weapon. I am a MBH/MSmuggler/Pistoleer 4000 without ANY medic and it's extremely challenging (however successfully killed 2 full temps today), I bet I would have it much easier if I had 4000 CM and I AM considering swapping templates, probably MBH/MPistoleer/CM 4000 myself.

The thing is I can keep up with the healing with medic xx2x lol but my prob is keeping full temps from force running away and regenerating their power while my buffs wear off by the time I catch up with em... root and knockdown don't always stick... I heard CM has some nice paralyze moves that could help me in that department.

well it seems from me the problem you're having is not being able to outheal a jedi


(at least thats what i assume because you want to pickup more helaing)


the first thing you have to realize, is that although stopping shot is nice and lasts for a long time


its cooldown rate is just too long to be an extremely effective tool


and even if you do get a root down, the jedi will just spam saber throw


basically you have no way to stop the jedi from attacking you, so the whole time you will be taking constant


damage


on the other hand disarming shot has a much shorter cooldown, and it keeps the jedi from spamming moves on you


also that line if i'm not mistaken contains speed which will let you get those specials out faster


as far as healing goes, you're not going to be able to depend on healing alone


not even cm healing is enough sometimes, you're going to have to play with a couple of things to try and make


your healing a bit more pumped up, the first thing is ruby bial + stims


these are so awesome!, especially when your mind runs out (which it will versus most good full templates)


if you don't know already ruby bial instantly clears off your stimpack timer, letting you take up


to about 9 stims in a row (depends on how much stomach room you have)


you can use your bacta shots when you have mind and have minor damage


but if you get kd'd and the jedi starts wailing on you, you're going to want to have a stim to catch up on heals



my ultimate suggestion?


try taking citrus snow cake instead of the state food you are currently taking


also try using the ruby bial + stim combo instead of resorting to picking up more cm heals


get disarm shot instead of stopping shot, i think you will be more pleased with the results


less damage to you + more healing power

sorry man... i should of read everything before posting


from my expierence, paralyze is NOT going to keep jedis from force running away


and your root is probably not going to either, paralyze has way too short of a timer


and breaks on damage, and root will either miss, or be on cooldown


when you need it the most, most jedis begin to run away when they have enough force or mind to heal a couple of times


so what you can do when jedis start to run away, is land a knee cap shot on them to slow them down, then proceed to lay down the


heavy damage, use confusion shot to stun / dizzy them, this will give you a chance to get them on a locked kd


(where the jedi cannot stand up for a long period of time)


immediately after using your underhand shot use adv crit, then head shot, this will put them down to almost no hp forcing them to heal


(if you have a bomb droid send that out as well, they can do up to 2k dmg while the jedi is kd'd)


then use your burst run (which you should save until you absolutely need it) and proceed to keep snaring and dishing on the damage


you should be able to get the jedi before he has the chance to get away


for the most part the devs have made it EXTREMELY easy for the jedis to run away from fights


so jedis getting away from you willbe a big part of hunting


also if accuracy is a big deal for you, whenever you sense a jedi is about to start running, or near his feat


pop some deutrium pyro, it will give you 200+ accuracy for a minute, not only ensuring almost all your necessary shots land


(root / snare) but also will dish out tons of more damage

ok I got one more question.... can i rename bomb droids mine is a little hard to /tar in my macro cause its name is "an MSE Bomb droid"

yeah


i'm not 100% sure cause its been about a year since i've renamed a droid


but the way to rename it, is to say


the desired name of the droid and a command 3 times in a row


example
