So I am a little wet behind the ears when it comes to the forums. I have been on here alot recently and find myself lost in the acronym jungle that are these forums. I am looking in the trade forums going, "I might buy that if I knew what in the heck it stood for." Some of them are easy to figure out if they are involved with a persons template. Others are much more difficult. Simplicity of speach/typing is great and I am all for it. However, if a new person joins the forums looking to further their game knowledge and inhance their gaming experience, they might find themselves overwhelmed. So maybe you are thinking, "If they don't know what it stands for they don't derserve to know about it or have it." Well get over yourself.You were new once and I am sure you are grateful to those few that helped you along. Just the tought of an acronym guide sounds like a daunting task, but I believe if we all chip in according to what we know, it would be easy as pie. This would of course have to be done by each individual forum, and there are lots of those. This might be one of those suggestions that floats by with the wind, but I would like to hear what others think about it at least.

Oh btw.........An acronym for those of you who don't know is a word fromed from the initial letters of a name, such as BTW for By The Way, or HAM for Health Action Mind. I was also unsure exactly where to post this, so I thought this was as good of place as any.

AFK = Away from Keyboard

ATK = At the Keyboard

SEA = Skill enhancing Attachment

ADK = Anti-Decay Kit

ALR = Advanced Laser Rifle

HC Scatter = High Capacity Scatter Pistol

FTW = For the Win

FoTW = Flavor of the Week

SWG = you guessed it

RoTW = Rage of the Wookies

JTL = (See a trend here) Jump to Lightspeed

CA = Clothing Attachment

AA = Armor attachment

LS = Lightsaber

QFE = I don't know...someone let me know that one lol

LOL = Laugh out Loud

ROFL = Rolling on the floor laughing

CH = creature handler

CM = combat medic

BH = Bounty Hunter

DE = Droid Engineer

AS = Armorsmith

WS = Weaponsmith (and west side)

ID = Image Designer

SL = Squad Leader

MP = Master Pistoleer

MR = Master Rifleman (usually)

MC = Master Carbineer
MCM = Master Combat Medic
AS = Armorsmith
WS = Weaponsmith
BE = Bio-Engineer and so on, that should be easy to figure as you can check by opening your skill window...

That said... About the trade forum thing :

AA = Armor Attachment
CA = Clothing Attachment
SEA = Skill Enhancing attachment (group with both the above : AA & CA are SEA)
ADK = Anti-Decay Kit
HOLO = Holo (this one is NOT an acronym

!)
MB = Minimum Bid
BO = Buy-Out price
PC = Price check
WP = Waypoint
NS = NightSister
GDK = Giant Duna Kimogilla
Sig = Signature
LTB/WTA etc : L=Look W=Want S=Sell B=Buy A=Auction

QFE = Quick Fix Engineering (What SOE calls a Fix)
QFE = Quoted For Emphasis

I have also heard people use it as "Quite F'ing Excellent" (not the proper use).
