My goal is to become a creature handler. Right now I also have 2000 pistol points built up. Will I take any sort of penalties for maybe also taking up the marksman skill so I can train with my pistol? I don't want my Creature Handler profession to hurt at all so I don't know how this might affect it.

Thanks in advance!

You should have enough skill points to be both a master Creature Handler and a master Pistoleer if you desire.

If you pistol skills progress faster than your handler abilities, you can also sell them back for more points when you reach the skill point cap. The system is very fluid, so you are not constrained to a single path to reach your goal (other than the hard cap of 250 points).

I just picked up seven new babies last night from Endor. Well This morning I log in and start training them, and I seem to have to repeat the train command up to seven times to get it learned. I have never had it take this long for every command over and over on every creature. Did they change something without telling us? Am I having bad luck. Took me almost 45 minutes to train 7 babies in my 13 commands. An unbelieveable 2548 mouse clicks and lots of patience. Do any of you guys notice a change today with this?

Can I sue them for carpaltunel?

It's been like that for me since day 1 of being a CH. I consider it lucky as hell to train a command in 1 or 2 tries.

I have one hotkey/maco assigned the types a "'" and a <cr>. Training "release" last (because you don't want to screw up and release this pet by accident), I radial all pet commands using the macro to enter the response (all commands would be activated with a press of '). I then go through the commands one last time, setting them to what I actually use. I do it this way because a trained command never failson re-train...

I was just wondering how Jedi train up their levels. I've never seen a Jedi trainer anywhere.

Not asking for specific locations or info, but am just curious how this happens

We get a random regular trainer that teaches us Jedi skills, it could be the marksman trainer in your closest city, or a creature handler trainer on another planet, completely random.

When you train a fs skill does the whole branch need to be trained or can you do one box at a time?

you need 80k xp to train lightsaber novice, that may be the problem.
