What I thought would fix Kashyyyk is the Tracking Droid would tell you what sector the target was in.

For example JediBOB is grinding on Kashy, Ryatt Trail, Mirror 2 at the Feral Wookiee spawn in the Web Weaver Paths.

BountyHunterBILL gets a mission from Kaadara, Naboo. Gets his Bio-Sig from the nearby SpyNet Op. Launches the arakyd and finds that JediBOB is on Kashyyyk (or it might say that JediBOB is on Ryatt Trail because it is basically an other 'planet', but they will probably just say Kashyyyk).

BountyHunterBILL launches his ship, hypers to Kashy, lands and sends his Seeker out. It says, not only that JediBOB is on Ryatt Trail, but that he is also in Instance 2. But it won't get too specific, such as Ryatt Trail;Instance 2;Web Weaver Paths.

It would just say Ryatt Trail; Instance 2.

Boom, problem solved with finding the Jedi on Kashyyyk, Killing him or her is your own deal.


But, besides, you don't need droids on Kashyyyk to find your prey. Just scout a trail out for grinding Jedi, get his mission from a terminal on another planet, then come back and kill him.


And I don't think the DEVs will change the Kashyyyk sector any time soon, for now it is a relatively "safe haven" for Jedi, but you can still get around it.

i dont think so... I made 2 million credits tonight doing kashyyyk missions only.

i get worried if my mark ISNT on kashyyyk.

Im sorry but Kash is just to linear for the use of tracking droids, too lazy to go down each trail and look? Gimme a break, try actually hunting the mark, it's not like you dont know right where they are lol.

OK, For the thousandths time....Droids do not work on kash because it is beyond the ability of the Devs to get them to work with the instances. It was not intended this way, it ended up this way. It will never get fixed. Adding in a 'new' droid will do noting.

I have made a couple mill myself hunting marks on kash. Along with a group of other BH, we email each other what jedi is in what instance as we scout, so that usually on a good nights, I have a list of what jedi is in what instances for about 4/6 of the trail. When I'm done for the day, I sit at kash SP shouting that I will pay 1/2 the payout for any mark I kill on kash, as long as you /tell me the name of the all the jedi in that group and what instance, and have had some mild success w/info that way.

What we should be pushing for is a BH term on Kash, it would save a little time, and generally make the jedi a lil more nervous about haning out there.

And what about those of us who don't grind on kashyyyk but rather go there for a little break to enjoy the new scenery and run a quest or two?

Do we jedi not deserve some respite to engage in the same content of this game as any other player?

Why even go to Kash ??? There are tons of Jedi right in Theed?

Since SOE are probably incapable of fixing anything, they should turn XP off on kash. Its meant to be for quests anyway.

And this is why I was forced to leave my first profession. BH, once a proud and honourable man at arms, pinnacle of combat is now the profession for griefers and other nutsacks that make these games so difficult to play sometimes.

Switch off XP on kashyyyk, honestly wouldn't bother me, but you're not hunting me there. Too much of this game's content is locked to us already, I want to be able to run around and do quests and stuff on my main (since the jedi is the main now) and not have to look around for respec BH's like yourself all the time.

I can deal with hunting on Kash. I like the fact that we can't have droids to find the Jedi and I think this makes it more than fair for paddies who want to grind without being WPed and ganked. You'll find that I'm a staunch supporter that Kash should not have droids enabled but should have the exploits fixed. I like the challenge.

This is why I just want all XP turned off on Kash. You'd still be able to quest, but no one could use the planet to grind on.
