Thread: Hunting Jedi on Kash

I pretty much just drop the mission if they're on kash. It's asuch a pain in the a$$ to go search all the instances for them. I hate the d@mn wookie planet.
I'm he opposite, I love it.
Kash missions are pretty much a guaranteed 225k with no armor decay.
Just do the "Trail Master" mission, and then just check the Webweaver path on each of the instances. They're always grinding the Feral Wookies halfway along the trail, and being AFK you can just take your sweet time to kill them.
Worst part of it for me has been seeing people down there who I had once respected, even alts of MBHs I had long held in high esteem.

Not worth it unless it's like 3 am and you are bored.
When it comes to hunting on Jedi it's one of two things you're going to find.
With the re-emergence of the Rryatt trail Wookie grind you will be able to find some Jedi AFK inside the rryatt trail, on the webweavers path, down by the wookies. Thats easy. Just be sure you've unlocked the trail and you're able to warp down there. Then just burstrun to the wookie spot and kill your mark whom is more than likely afk or at least low on force. There's 6 instances of the Rryatt. So you may have to run through all 6 to find them. I'd say that might take around 15-30 minutes to find them.
IF that is not the case, they are more than likely running mission in one of the quest area's. Myyridil caverns is pretty popular but again has many instances. This is not a place where Jedi grind afk so it's not going to be as easy to find/kill them in there. The Etty trail is another place where Jedi might be completing missions, issue there is most BH'ers haven't opened Etty yet and even if they have they hardly ever check in there.
So Jedi hunting on Kassyk can either be really easy, or really hard. Another tactic that has been used is just waiting at the starport for your mark to come to you. Though that method could leave you sitting for hours and hours with no payout (as the Jedi may just logout on Kassyk or not leave for days)
(I'm totally against Jedi grinding AFK on Rryatt but it happens. If you're looking for "easy" kills that might be your best bet.)
I'm of a dual mind on this. I don't really care as long as it's not using exploits.
The trick is most people act like grinding out a combat skill is different than say entertainer. Well it's really not, ask all the entertainers who are ATK!
I just wish the devs would come out and say "This is ok, we do not believe it violates policy." or "This is not ok, doing this violates policy."
I would then like them to sticky it in every forum board, put it in the patch notes, and as a big pop-up box in-game. Then we could put an end to the "Its exploiting!" "No it's not!" crowd.
Personally I'm not a fan of it, but they took away our solo grind* soeither way we're pretty much guaranteed to getvis![]()
*for those of you who still say "You can still solo" you either didn't play Jedi early on (pre-9)or you just are trolling. Yeah a Jedi started off with wimpy skills, and that first couple of boxes was tough, but you could also run lair to lair by yourself. You didn't have to wait forever for force to regen after every lair. You could complete many, and by the time you got up to the middle, could solo rancor lairs. Now they took a 1 year solo grind (casually speaking, I'm not a "powergamer") and turned it into a 2+ year grind for the casual person. Now on the opposite end of the spectrum, the group grind is too fast, but then again the power's been dropped to a dual elite or a little less now, so I guess since it takes about 2-4 weeks longer than a regular dual elite for less power it's still fair.
