Ok lets say I take my current Force Sens. BH and get him to paddy. I make my 2nd char. "A Fresh new BH" then drop paddy with my main. Will I still have my main BH and my 2nd toon?

You need to be a paddy, ie 6 full FS lines, to keep that second character slot open.

I wasn't aware of that either, seems a little retarded though, I mean theres more to the game than being a goddam jedi. A mate on my server is trying to do this actually but Im not sure if he knows he will lose his alt.

Its a shame you can't just keep that alt slot open when you drop your paddy box, I mean your main toon is good for nothing combat related except Jedi with all thouse 24points tied up.

I was wondering that earlier tonight so i took a look around the Jedi forums. The Jedi guide said they hadn't tested it et but maybe someone has since then.

you need to keep the novice paddy box since thats the one that unlocks your alt... you drop that you lose your alt...

your best option is get paddy.. costs 0 sp... get your alt and make that into your main guy.. and turn your original
into a crafter or merchant or something to help your other guy... tailor/BE/DE/WS/AS... merchant so you can sell the
loot from npc missions... you just need to keep that novice box.. no biggie IMO

no sig won't let me use html sniff sniff

It used to be the case that when you unlocked in the old system you got a brand new character - the Jedi character. Seemed a much better system IMHO.

i think that you shoule be able to drop the FS/jedi skills once you have your extra toon. we've put in just as much work as someone who wants to play jedi ,it's up to use how we play our characters

From a roleplay aspect, there shouldn't be any penalty from training to become a Jedi then renouncing that training by dropping the skills, and refusing to use it any longer.

I wasn't aware that you lost your second character slot if you dropped padawan. That just doesn't seem right. What if you had made it a merchant, and had 200 million in credits, etc. Would you lose that, instantly or would the system say "If you drop novice Padawan, you will lose your alternate character slot, are you SURE you want to do this? Please enter the following code to confirm: 3948039483" or some such....

I read on the forums last week somewhere, that once you pick paddy, you cannot DROP it....hence opening up the second slot and dropping it.
There is no option to drop it and the second toon, you cannot drop it at all.

Supposedly, from the fs forums anyways. Unless thats for the next publish....

Yeah, that's what I've heard too. You can't drop Padawan, it's not even an option.

I had a Force sensitive character, with 23 and a half boxes ground out.
I had a master creature handler.
I had a high lvl crafter character.
I had a Bounty Hunter that I hunted PC Jedi with.

My game is dead.

Ok, so say you CAN'T drop your paddy box and the pre-requisite 24 FS skills....

what if you just delete your main toon?

Will the jedi alt still remain? In theory you could then re-make your main with the same name as long as you did it quickly enough so that nobody else took it.

Anybody with a jedi feel like deleting it so we can test this?
