Thread: BH NPC marks getting a bit more intelligent?
I've been noticingBH marks using specials in combinations that are theoretically impossible to attain. When I pulled up to a numbe of BH marks, they were holding melee weapons in their hand and using melee attacks from all 3 discliplines on me: Fencer, Swordsman, and Pikeman. Then when I opened the gap out of melee range, the switched to a rifle and used specials from Rifleman, Pistoleer, and Carbineer.
So this was a 6 profession npc... Technically, it's possible to have novice in the above 6 referenced professions, and still have 72 sp left over for use, but they were using the master level attacks on me. "so and so hits you with Advanced Critical Hit for xxxx damage"
Over the last couple nights
The npc's seem to be getting a little smarter. Although they are still pretty easy.
Albeit, I had one npc last night knock me down like 20 times in a roll. No timer delay.
I was almost starting to get annoyed.
I've also had a few npc's attack me first as I drove by on bike.

NPCs don't follow the same rules as human players do. They don't have skill points, they just receive certain skills from the devs to use.
In other words, if you ever see a rancor pull out a flamethrower and use sniper shot on you, don't be surprised. (Will never happen of course... let hope not)
I heard mark's Action and Mind bars are being drained now.

I just think it's funny is all. You know... WE are held to standards, and our attackers should be also. But then again, no BH worth his salt will be taken out by one of these npcs, so I guess it's a moot point.
However, I'd like them to stop spamming the AOEs..... it's bad enought they pull me off my bike, but they usually toast it with the spammed AOEs.... just frustrating since merely killing them and getting no loot isn't compensation enough for the 25k bike! lol
my mark on dath destroyed an overt jedi's barc speeder, then I came in as rifleman and got the kill as well. all in all a bad day for that jedi

noticed that a number of may marks are getting a bit more sneaky. pulled up to one the other dayhopped off my bike and he immediately aggored and started shooting my bike up even though i was a good distance away
he was alos using a range of pistoleer moves i've not seen an NPC use before. i know that a lot of the marks use charge shot, but this guy was applying mezzes and states.
when i quickly checked his bio it seemed slightly different and alos had a section "target is aware of the bounty" which might explain his aggroing me.
abyone else come across these more aggresive marks?
