Thread: Bounty hunters with Jedi cloak

Okay, I been hunting in MO alot since I got jedi... Today I was attacked 4 times by this bounty hunter whom had the ablity to cloak using the jedi ablities. Honestly its very annoying but what I find interesting is each time he came after me he failed...
The biggiest issues I have with this is he repeatedlywas able to attack me for an extended period of time while he was under cloak. (No I know what cover is.. An I was running away from him cuase he always attacks from behind) When he was attacking no one saw him, but saw the shots. Each time I was followed by the group an they said no one is chasing you why are you taking damage? These people would aslo follow for a good 300m with burst run an this bounty hunter was completely inivisible expect by his shooting.Until this person got onto his speeder then he became visible until he cloaked again.
Secondly, his bark speeder was able to move far faster then my own, I got away from himnumerous times. I had him on target roughtly 200m away, with in 45seconds he was with in 80m of me. I have a bark speeder to... Just curious how that is possible.
This bh.. was rifleman, had jedi cloak, jedi healing skills.
He is so upset over something I have no idea really other then the fact I keep getting away. He told me he will contuie to hunt my character *yes a jedi* Contuie to repeatedly take my mission to grief me until I beg him to stop. Hesaid he didn't care if he was perposly harrassing my character he just wanted to keep killing me till he see's me in 10mil dept. His words...
*Shurgs* HonestlyI do not care for being harrassed it's a very slight annoyance he is comming after me. But if he keeps failing repeatedly over an over again. Wouldn'the get on the terminals? Wouldn't he be a target himself?But he is a jedi, an he is a bounty hunter.. Amusing... Aleast its keeping him from killing weaker players..
To be honest, I told him I was half templated... ^-^
Far form it... In3 more box trainings I will be able to turn the tide an kill him. Master defender is a nice skill.. LS 4... Speed will give me the edge i need.
Anyhow.... I just need info thats why I came here... I am very surpised that the bounty hunter can attack me while still cloaked ancannot be targeted in any way. I spent 3 mins running from him an he was completely invisible completely non-targetible along with a person watching this happening. That was 30 mins ago... Amusing template.. Glad I have enough defender to escape for now. ^-^

Ummmm....Everyone has been complaining that Jedi can attack while cloaked. Jedi didn't seem to care. Now a BH invested the whole 52 points to cloak (including the 24 FS points, which a Jedi would need anyway, so Jedi are only REALLY investing 28 points,) and NOW you come here to complain? You got some stone cahones
Take it somewhere else, bud...

One my template doesnt use cloak. I think its cheap as heck....
two I also got a bounty hunter. I know what you guys go though... An I fight on both very hard... I came here asking for a little advice to deal with the issue..
I am not really complaining just asking for tips to deal with a very annoying pest. Yeah I agree with everyone in this form, jedi with the ablity to cloak an attack an stay cloaked is very very cheap. This guy has been using this exploite on me 3-4 times. Even with his best exploiting he still has yet to take me down.

The good news is, is that he will only be able to track you for three days. In those three days just keep mobile (explore on Kash, even not on the trails, Kash is a nasty place for a BH to hunt.) After those three days, he'll have a very, very slim chance of picking your missing again and griefing you. There goes one day already!
Two to go.
He's a griefer. Every profession has them.
Best way to deal with BH griefers at this time is wait the 3 days or take the XP hit (or use exploits, but I won't get into that...)

Well I think if you are seasoned as you say then you will realize he can not take your mission by name without some major time sink. Two if he is exploiting the cloak bug, he is very easily damaged as the bug does nothing more than make you invisible, you take full damage while bugcloaked.

Exploites are out of the question.... I will never use them.....
I didn't know he had 3 days to atempt to kill me that is good to know... I thank you for taking the time to explain this to me.

Serioulsy, I hate going to that place.... boreing.... Hard to navigate... An yeah, I know for the next two days I will have to dip an dodge him. Again thank you for your time.

Just wait one day you might fight a MBH with cloak and force defence and healing skills. Would be interesting to see who would win

a.) You cannot attack while cloaked
b.) You cannot cloak while riding a vehicle
c.) He may have the vehicle control tree
But most of the things you mentioned could not be true....

Wow this is the biggest load of misinformation i have ever read....
I have nothin else to say till the mystery BH posts the screen shots of the entire conversation....which should be fairly soon...
then all i will have to say is I told you so....

Doctoring images? I was listening on vent when Ooseef was trying to get the SS posted... no offense to you Oose.... he barely was able to use paint to get the images resized... so he obviously didn't 'doctor' them as you say he did.... And as far as exploits, ahem... Pot, meet kettle.

If he can attack while cloaked, he may have 2 effects on him
- cloak to run around
- cover to snipe with concealshot
-> you never see him, since he is always invisible whatever he does.
Barc speeder faster that yours?
He may have vehicular control tree : i only have vehicular control 2 and i realised i was way faster than another guy on a barc speeder without vehicular control.
Since he's a jedi, he may have it.
And he may have some BH hunting him too while he is hunting you ^^

I've been pondering making a MBH/MRM cloaker myself. I usually hit my mark when doing a lair. Problem with cover is that if you drop into it at 512m the Jedi will have finshed the lair and moved on by the time you get there.
Yes the Cloaking BH will be on the terms himself lol which is another of my reasons for wanting to be a hybrid.
On a sidenote, I thought vehicular control only increased manouverability and acceleration not actual top speed. You say you were faster which is implies top speed is affected or am I misunderstanding?

you know that with cloak on he can't wear armor... so that means hes mroe like MBH 4xxx rifles with cloak healer and soem defender or enhancer I think...
