Alright, I'm outta here for good. I've been an image designer, artisan, pistoleer, carbineer, rifleman, combat medic, smuggler, scout, ranger and bounty hunter - and I've seen enough suffering and nerfs for a lifetime. This game has nothing to do with the actual SW universe anymore and I refuse to pay any longer for this crap; especially since a close friend of mine just canceled her account as well for almost the same reasons.
Good luck to my fellow Mundanes, there are dark times ahead of you. Mark my words: the new GCW will not be fought between Imps and Rebs, but between Jedi and Mundanes.
Give'em hell, boys.

good luck, stopped playing a few days ago and canceled my subscription, and the withdrawals are tough. I hope you have a life, or job or school or girlfriend or something. this pass few days i been smothering my son with attention cause i need to keep my mind off the game. every now and then i am almost this close to reinstalling the game on my computer, but then i get ahold of myself

The best part about posts that are anti-flaming is the fact that they ALWAYS have a flame in them.
Things change. Adapt. If you can't adapt, then you shouldn't be a BH anyways.
I understand the 'I can't take teh nerfz'. Quitting is one thing. Quitting and whining about it only to spam up the BH forums is another.

oh and to the guy that started this thread. I understand your frustration. My love for star wars brought me here and it's what keeps me here. I have a few friends that beg me to stay almost daily....and i have fun on occasion. How sad is it that I pay for a game that I don't always enjoy? But anyway good luck man and I understand why you are leaving.

Goodluck to you, I feel your pain. It sucks that we are forced to all play the same way to compete. I sense that many are not behind you.

I feel exactly the same way. It gets increasingly difficult to role-play life in the SWU with all these blatant indiscrepancies. Just because of the popularity of the new 3 lousy movies that shall remain nameless, doesn't mean that they should allow this time-period toslowly morphinto the old republic.
Most true starwars fans favor this intended time period for one reason or another. It's most realistic...blasters and technology... not magic. For those of us that choose to remain accurate to SW lore and NOT be jedi, cannot compete, and it isn't right.
If anything will make me quit, it is the exact reasons the original poster mentioned. Iunderstand his frustration 100%, however, my love of StarWars will keep me here. I have absolutely no interest in becoming jedi because I am among a seemingly few who realize that they do NOT belong here. Bounty Hunters, Smugglers, and other professions, INCLUDING Image Designers that some people look down on, DOhave a placehere.
So Jedi continue to "pwn" everything and completely destroy the experience for those of us who actually know a little about StarWars and would prefer to make an attempt to immerse themselves into an factually accurate SWU.
I have nothing against players playing jedi characters, it's not their fault. The initial allowance of player jedi was a huge mistake and should slowly be reversed as it has gotten preposterously out of hand. Even some jedi I have spoken to have agreed with this. Those who do not agree, are wrong... undisputedly.
