Thread: Ok I want to become a MBH, but this is annoying the crap outta me.
first, it's widely accepted that training Invest 1 is a bad move. Take the newb mission till you have 10K XP then train 1&2 and be close to 3. You droids will be more reliable at 2.
You can try to avoid marks over water by knowing that they don't actually spawn until you get within 256m of them. So if it looks like they are traveling over a large body of water wait at the shore.
Sometime if they are inside buildings and you can't get LOS you can hit them indirectly, then they will aggro you and follow you out of the building. a bomd droid should be easy enough or you can shoot someone or something with an AoE in front of your mark.
You can't get much better than Kadaara for grinding though, all the needed Spynets and the term are close to the star port.
It sounds like I'm not the only one having this problem then. Last night I logged in and in 2 hours I managed to get a total of 480xp from one successful mark. That's 1 out of 3 missions that I managed to complete. It's annoying because I only need another 500 or so xp to get to 3444!
But the 2 that I couldn't complete weren't because they were over water or because they were in a wall or a building. It's because they just weren't there. I tracked one from Talus to Rori back to Talus and no spawn, despite 3 seekers all saying that the waypoint was exactly where I was standing.
I went through the same suffering when mastering BH over a year ago. Most of my level 4 missions were bugged and had to be aborted.
I'm sorry to hear that many of the same issues continue to crop up, the frustration is why I took several months off after finally mastering.
But I think sticking it out and seeing it through is a mark of a true BH - this is one of the reasons why many of us detest the "respec BH".
The mission terminal and the informant are 6 mtrs away from each other, you can get mission and talk to informant with mission window open. If the mission is to far away dump it and get a new 1.

Your mark is there its just that your driods have no precision, no to mention they can't tracka moving target.
Nope - wasn't in a 500m radius of the WP. I wondered the area quite extensively looking for anything that conned red to me (so must be higher level than I was) and doing /tar [name] but nothing.
I will persevere.
sometimes they are inside the landscape under the ground. the marks will always be moving after newb missions but they stop when you get within 256m of them. the waypoint your droid gives you will not always be eactly where the mark stops but he's usualy near. you can type /target <mark's name> to try to find him. you can pop a tent to clear things like trees is he's inside one or a bomb droid if he's under the ground.
