I'm currently 3444 BH, MCarb, CM 4000 and I'm just about to finish up my BH investigation xp to become MBH and I wanted to get your input and advice. I watched a friend of mine play his MBH, MCM template character and I liked all the different things he could do and was thinking of re-grinding mine to that. Do you guys think it's worth it? I'd be grinding from MBH, MCarb, CM 4000 to MBH, MCM, Carb 0400 probably.
What are your thoughts and advice?
Oh one more thing...I heard that carbines use energy and some pistols use kinetic. Would it be better to sacrifice leg shot and not yet carb 0400 and acquire pistols 0004 to get the ability for stopping shot and be able to use kinetic pistols against those jedi's that wear PSG's? What do you think? Are carbines still a very viable option in pvp?

I simply couldn't kill like I do without MCM. The burn, poision, snare, mind regen attack, action regen attack, paralyse, bacta jab, stims, bacta toss.... I can take Knight with post-cu Pearls most times, pre-cu pearls are a different matter though... working on that.

What ranged line did you go with your template? Rifles 4000, Carb 0400 or Pistols 0004? and why? ![]()

at mbh you get a very good option for a kinetic pistol with the high capacity scatter.
i can't answer your other inquiries.

i wouldn't read to much into 'kinetic' pistols. there is a kinetic carbine too - "cercka dart carbine"

MBH/MCM, FOTM sure, go for it, It wouldnt be FOTM if it didnt work.

I've heard psg's dont really help that much... its only 2k energy protection

2333 I think is max, and that adds on to what you already have, so for example you have marauder with layed energy rests equiling 7088 + 2333 = 9421, Yes, it is well worth it, that is almost a 55% resist rateing.

And they run out of energy and need to recharge.I gather most jediwear belts with a load of CA's attached over PSG's.

Just out of curiosity, how close do you have to be to your mark to apply paralyze, thyroid, hem, poison, fire, and all the other states, etc??
Also I think I'm going to go MBH, MCM, Carb 0400 instead of Pistol 0004.
