Thread: bounty hunters
Hey guys, I'm a noob at this game so I wanted to seek some help. I want to become a BH, and I'm going through all the necessary skills and experience, but do any of you experienced players have tips on becoming a BH quicker? I realize that I am going at a snail's pace and only have Advanced training on all of my weapons and Scouting skills.
Also, is there a "best" place (or really good one for that matter) to become a bounty hunter and gain experience quicker?
Finally, one more question: I'm trying to access the Imperial terminals and gain some missions, although there are none showing to me...why and what do I need to do to access them? If my memory serves me correctly, I remembered reading that other players cannot "steal" missions.
If anyone can help me out with these, that'd be great!
Hey there, on my way to becoming a BH aswell on the Gorath server (currently playing as a weaponsmith on the valcyn server). So far, the best place i have found to level up my marksman stats has been in the hunting groups on Tatooine. The Tuskan Camp near Wayfar is especially good if you're with a group. I'm already rifle and pistol specialist with advanced carbine and expert ranged support and i really havent been playing that long.
As far as scouting skills go, I havent been focusing on those too much but I usually harvest everything i kill and offer to make the camps in my group. I can't really help you with the mission term. problem becuase I have'nt reallychosen a side yet. Hope this helps.

However, about the Imperial Mission Terminal not giving you missions, I'm going to wager that you're not an Imperial. If you're not an imperial (check your character page CTRL-C, if faction in Imperial is below 200, you're not Imperial) then you can't use Imperial Mission Terminals. Same goes for Rebel Mission Terminals. Neutrals must use regular orange Mission Terminals scattered throughout the cities.

If neutrals cant use imp mission terminals, how are they sposed to get the 200 points to become imp...
Neautrals can use the imp mission terminals, but they will have non biased missions, such as destorying a gambling camp, while once your a true imp, you will be destorying rebel camps.

Thanks for the tip about Wayfar too, I wanted to head over to Jabba's Palace anyway.
FYI, there is a Bounty Hunter trainer in the catina in Wayfar and there is a Bounty Hunter mission terminal in Wayfar also.
I just need my carbine skill maxxed and my survival skill maxxed to go to Bounty Hunter. I've been getting my xp from the tusken camp near Wayfar.
BH can come here and expose their own point of view if you ask me (I know you don't) just like we can go their Forum and discuss with them. A stupid BH isn't worse than a stupid pistoleer, it is still a stupid person.
For me, BH are welcome as long as they respect us a bit and try to discuss politely.
Well, I try to support Pistoleers and their problems, but it's very hard to see past the dozen or so knuckleheads that keep invading the BH forum and sabotaging our posts with 1 stars and nonsensical arguments.
Don't even see why they do this, because DEV isn't reading us anyway lol!
Your right wepps, we are the only ones reading. I said it before, It should be us vs. the dev's since they are the once f'ing us. Not BH vs. Pistol vs. whatever.
Make SWG a better place, lobby to get your favorite Dev fired.
i was just woundering i want to make a bounty hunter but i think of what to do with the extra points if i go medic then i dont get the purks of pistoleer or rifleman i just dont want to get ganked in coronet by some imperial commando again any have a good idea
