Thread: Fan shot
Have any of you been hit by this? 1300 damage from a pistoleer not even master. It's at least as powerful as any special BHs have.
People want to talk about BHs being too powerful? That's only because they're low level. Smugglers have last ditch which can do about the same damage (or at least will now after the patch).
Most of the people complaining are only doing so because they haven't gotten as much xp as BHs... when they do... or even just a little bit more than they have now (still less than BHs have to get) they'll realize they're just as powerful if not more so. Especially now with the knockdown nerf.
They should take the knockdown off of underhand shot. I'd like to be able to use the damage without having to take the HAM knockdown cost.
Fanshot is nice. It's a Top Tier attack though so it should be nice 
I'd say Stoppingshot is the Pistoleer one shot kill ability though. The refresh on it sucks though. And BHs shouldn't be nerfed. The only people that cry for that are those that don't know what they are talking about

Your whole class does the same exact thing. They call for knockdown nerfs and have no idea what they are talking about, seeing as knockdowns are the only way for a BH to survive against marks.

Im not disappointed.. i was hoping that this would help with crowd control and it does.. it takes a bit of brains but FAN SHOT ROCKS !! i love the change.
BUT i have noticed HAM costs seem to be WAY up.. but maybe its just me.. and i think stopping shot got even slower.. but not sure..

The changes to fanshot are horrible. Random pool, random mob. The description says hits ONE target MULTIPLE times. Doesn't say anything about hitting MULTIPLE mobs ONE time. Fan shot was the ONE shot we had that was half-way useable. Now it's broke just as bad as the rest. You may like it for when you have multiple mobs to fight. But when you have ONE mob to fight you suddenly have 4 more on you because it hit something that was 60 meters away, but within range of the shot.
dont use it when fighting one mob... we have single target attacks too.. this gives us a bit of diversity !! give it a chance. i like it..

We have single target attacks that are inferior to our old fan shot. Diversity is good, but it generally means adding new things.Taking our _working_ standard shot and changing it to be more specialized is not good.
i DO think that stopping shot should be sped up a bit but fan shot WAS what stopping shot should hvae been .. now fan shot is new.. just fix stopping shot and were golden..
Fan shot is an awesome addition.. ive done 4 missions vs imp's and taking them out 2 at a time rox !

Some people are just never happy, i sent my pet in and used fanshot on a gurk..all of a sudden 5 gurks went down. Um, i think thats why better then what it was before. I am sorry you are so lame that you dont know how to look to see if there are other creatures behind what you are attacking and that you just run in all gun hoe and start firing. Just set your self up, its not that hard...oh i know the fact that you have to actually think and cant spam one speical over and over makes the game to hard for you whiners.
Anyways on most adv planets the creatures all start attacking when you attack even one of them. On starting planets not as many do, and tonight as i was running in the fields of naboo i just cleared out a mauler mob that was in my way with ease.
