Thread: From the father of the anonymity idea: here's a fix for TARGET NOT ONLINE
I tried to create a macro that would trigger exit game world save and delist um potato...without creating a parameter for the jedi that is, um protocol, returneda zero value for the modifier according to the bylaws of sector delist .... gaberdine /goldschlager x....but then i had an issue: /subroutine didn't seem to work and then the macro was infinite...
maybe i am missing a semi colon after the potato...so i took a nap
subroutine must be bugged...i say nerf game world! or at least the potato!
/goldschlager
Don't feel sorry for me, I'm just a Jedi Knight trolling your forums. I read here that someone else had 16 in a row, and another one spent 45 minutes out of two hours to learn that 15 of the missions he/she accepted were for offline Jedi.....
Jedi anonymity was my original idea, and from day one I insisted that anonymous terminals must only show ONLINE Jedi. The devscouldn't make it work, and they went ahead anyway.
The code for removing someone from the terminals exists, because (supposedly) Jedi get removed when they die. The code for detecting when someone has gone offline and triggering an action also exists (**** Your friend has gone offline at 04:56:06 ****). Why is it so hard to cannibalize the necessary code to make sure that only online Jedi are listed on the anonymous terminals???

You guys are just as bad as the Jedi crowd ![]()
This threadstarts with a two-line proposal post that can fix a big problem you are experiencing.Guess what, the thread is dropping like a rock and is now almost off the first page with zero comments, snowed under the weight of a dozen threads that are complaining about the TARGET NOT ONLINE problem.
Hey, it's your profession.

Because it makes it easier for SOE's golden children to play the game. They must me lauging thier a$$es off
It's way too easy now, compared to what us old timers had to go through. We had to do it alone over months or face the risk of XP loss, the new generation does it semi-AFK in groups over days with little risk of XP loss.
I know I posted exactly, step-by-step how to fix this problem on this very thread.
Not too tough. Check the state of a Jedi everytime they, log on, load into a game section (like being cloned, or loading at a starport/shuttleport) and log off. If, during loading, cloning, logging on they have enough vis to be on the terms, put their names in a table. This table is where the BH's would "draw" random names from. If during the cloning and logging off processes they don't have enough vis to be on the terms, take their names off the table.
LOL -what kind of idiot asks to be nerfed? Please nerf me, names on the term is so exploitable.
Now that you have your nerf -be quiet and let the devs get back to you when they are done with Droid Engineer, Commando, Smuggler,Creature Handler, Armorsmith, Melee Professions, Scout and Ranger... And some real broken professions.
