Why is it that when you get a skill bonus to droid speed, it takes quite a bit longer for your droid to find your target? Is it like firing rate where a higher number is worse?

I guess it's just a bug.

I need to add to this post something. I have a skill enhancement attachement (the tape kind ) that fits in my clothes socket that I havent used. It is for "Droid effectiveness and tracking." I dont remember what the stats where with it. Something like +5 I think for each.

I heard that these attachments dont work yet. Is that true? I have seen no posts that they work. I did read some posts saying they were bugged a while back.

Hell, with all the droid failures it may be worth either 500k or because of its small value 3k I dont know. What do you guys think of the quality of the attachment and its worth. Yes I'm a bounty hunter.

Does anyone know if the droid speed issue is being addressed? We are supposed to get +30 to droid speed +30 to droid tracking speed and +40 to droid tracking effectiveness at Investigation 3. Since l started working on Investigation 4, the droids are much slower. The seeker tracking is cool, but it only sticks like 1 out of 3 seekers. I think reality we are getting -30, -30, -40.

It has been reported, the effect of the skill mods is reversed.

BHs at Investigation 2: grind as much as you can now, before the fixes go in!

Just a little advice. If it's timed well, you may hit 3 right as they patch the mods, who knows?

Okay i know i should have gone straight to invs.2 but i didn't and i was just wondering has the droid speed slowed down, when it says it's supposed to increase? It seems like it's taking a lot longer than before.

Going to be MBH no matter what

Yep, that's one of our (many) bugs. The better you get at using your droids, the longer it takes for htem to report back. It takes about 5 minutes to get a report and Inv 4. I'm not even sure we've had official recognition of this one from the Devs yet. Since they've made some airy, non-specific promises about BH bug fixes in the next Publust, let's wait and see.

Droid speed and marks losing their TEF were said by the devs to be fixed. I think it was even mentioned in the patch notes as being fixed but it was never fixed. When Tanks the BH correspondantasked in the main forums for a dev to comment on the subject he was flamed by anti-BH haters and accused of trying to monopolize bug fixes.

Yes this is a bug. The more droid speed you get the slower droids work.

As a new Bounty Hunter, I am curious as the value of droid speed tapes. I have a few stockpiles up, and was wondering if it was worth the time to make a suit and put them in. Will it help track jedi? And how much speed would be needed to make a difference?

A month or so ago I bought a ton of droid speed and tracking droid attachments. With all my clothes on I was at about + 20 droid speed and + 15 tracking droids. At master I tried sending out an arkyd both with and without the clothes on and the difference was very minimal. Same with the seekers. 10 or 15 seconds difference really does not make a big difference in hunting jedi especially since you don't know when other people started hunting them. With the NPC's I'd say you'd be able to cut about 30 seconds off your time total with some good tapes. Totally not worth it in my opinion. If your a master bh the droid speed is super fast already. If your a new bh just starting out though they may be worth it. The tracking times take quite a while when your new and it may help you get to master a little faster. The tracking droid tapes are good I think because they increase the amount of times your seeker will report back to you before it loses the target.

Its been a while. Has anyone tested droid speed SEA's? If mempry serves correctly it reduced the response time if your used these SEA's. Any new information?
