probably not, anytime Tanks brought this up I think response was that it would be a great idea, but not for a long time.

Well, I'm not aware of them being nerfed into oblivion. And i think the whines were coming from every combat profession that isn't Jedi.

If they were nerfed so bad, why do I still see so many of them?

For three reasons:

1. Jedi is still aworking class. Not uber - just playable.

2. Jedi grind may be faster than what it used to be but it is still too long to switch to FTM every tine devs sneeze like evryone else does.

3.Jedi could be the worst class in the game and there would still be a lot around.

you are deluding yourself. The truth is, they are still more powerful than any other normal template. That why you still see the leet kiddies dueling with them in theed. Instead of pvping with thier alts.

I started to write up a long and rational response. But then I realized it isa waste of time. Some people believe in dogmas not facts and there is not point in having a logical discussion.

Ok, I'll give it a shot.

On the front page of this forum there are at least twothreads that talk about taking on full templates one on one.But there were always templated that coulddo it. Certainly pre-CU. After CU and pre pub-19 there was a period whenyou could not take afull template Jedi down alone, but there were templates that could pretty muchstalemate them indeffinitely. Postpub 19 - there are several approaches to doint it 1 v. 1again read this forum.Now some say thatit can not be done, others say that they do it withouttakinga scratch.In the end it allcomes down to respective PvPexperience/inclinations of the players involved.

Letsforget annecdotal evidence and look at the math involved

1. DPS- Jedi do not have the best DPS in the game.Some get very decent damageoutput but those that do rely on pre-CU sabers/crystals/pearls- so are a minority. Still the best saber I know of pales when compared toan good player made T21.

2. Jedi do not have the best healing in the game. A docor a CM can do a lot better (even dabblers)

3. Jedi are tied for the best defenses in the game - at MDEF aTKMis a very close match

In fact a TKM - MDOC/MCM is a close match in every respect to aMLS/MDEF.So where is the ubernes of the Jedi?
