uhh so i got a boss mark today, and its regen was goin by the hundreds, I couldnt do any damage, i never got it below 30k/32k, and it hit me for 1123 one time, just out of curiosity , why is this thing so extremely hard, its better then jedi, some please help me
I think it was intended for general game like krayts necrosis and the like stuff you should be useing a group to take, and in that context its fun and good. Since the regen isnt that bad if say 8 people are hitting the target. This would simply make these enemies harder fights and more challengeing.
The problem I think is that this system got applied to BH boss marks aswell content that is supposed to be done solo and is designed as such. In other words you cannot have a merry band of healers behind you so you can just thrash away at the target.
The net result is a target thats almost impossible to kill. I have heard some people say they killed one but I am edgeing that the marks werent bosses or that the BH is you know a little full of it. The AI seems to work very well and makes it fun on the lower bh marks I have noticed its a little tougher, but not such that its too hard, but you hit the boss mark and about the best your going to do is take 5k health off of him which in my mind is a real accomplishment against these guys. Then at that point you will find that even fully buffed you will be totally empty.
Is it possible to kill them yes it is. I can tell you it is possible to kill them, because as a ch with a very nice pet I was tanking him quite well I just wasnt doing any damage. I would break aggro go sit regen mind go back and heal my pet. I had to run from a few aggros but otherwise was fine. So if I were in the mood to just heal away all day long I would in the end simply win a battle of attrition with him and wound him down to a nub. From what I could see after 5 minutes I gave him 2 wounds. So you know with 35200 health it would only take me 32 hours to bend him to no health through sheer wounding. Thats kind of sad though. Work an hour to drop fifty wounds on you know after 12 hours he has 600 wounds after 24 1200. So well maybe 10 days solid.

I had a single chevron boss yesterday and he seemed to do a lot more specials but what I found to work was to lay off the specials with him and just do a normal attack and then lace the KD and critical hits in. I kept him on his back a lot of the time and with a Crit / Head shot he was manageable. I had to cycle through 3 different weapons that did different DMG types to find one that seemed to make a dent each time I hit him. It did seem to take longer than normal but nothing to crazy. I don’t recall his HAM.

Um... there's no such thing as a "single chevron boss"
BOSS marks are GOLD double-chevron NPCs - with 30-34k HAM
What you fought was a run-of-the-mill 14-18k HAM "elite" (silver, single chevron)
Actually the Boss was a GOLD Chevron. And no, not all boss's are 30k HAM... I have fought GOLD bar boss's with i know less than 30k HAM.
