I went out with one of my guild's bounty hunters last night to take a crack at some of these high end boss marks. Much to my surprise, he decided to take a jedi mission first knowing that I can't heal or help him. We flew to Lok, got the name, and swooped out to the city. As soon as we got there, I saw the mark cloak. We put the swoops away and just stood out in the open for a while. The mark did the /duel;/endtest (get used to it, guys) on us and must have figured out that my guildie was there forhim. The mark whips out his swoop and my BH immediately blows it up to get the TEF (thus giving the jedi the option to come out of cloak and strike first). The mark proceeds to walk right up to us (still under cloak), fire up his jedi buffs (valor/aura/speed/infusion/forcerun), and start attacking. After a few volleys, it was clear that my BH friend was outdamaging him and was going to win if something didn't change.
Well... as I'm sure you all know, cloakers love to fire up force run and then distnace themselves from their attackers to cloak while they heal/regen/etc. What the cloaker didn't realize is that I'm a full temp jedi with forcerun, so I /followed him to prevent him from cloaking. No cloak... no escape... no way in H#$L he survived. 200k in the bank.

If he fired up Force Run...why the heck did he not just keep running? You can follow him all day, but your BH buddy isn't going to catch up.

Thats right... But it is a great panic factor!

Depends which forcerun doesn't it?
I don't know, does it?
I have Force Run 1, and have no trouble escaping if I need to.

The snare and root is the worst...that is where the Healer comes in. I just keep working through the damage with heals and when the snare lifts, I usually get a KD on me, which I recover from and run out of there...sometimes after delivering a KD of my own to give me a little distance.

Correct. Like Rifleman Cover...if a player or NPC is too close, you can't cloak.
