Thread: New marks: to easy
P.S. I'm not even done with my template and I was able to take out all of my marks with great ease.

I pulled a CL82 Boss mark and he wiped me out. I don't have healing (I will now), so he just did too much damage between stims.
Ruby bliel.....comes in real handy...60 secs is way too long to wait in a fight.
So, I take it that MBH/MRifles is THE way to go to hunt NPC marks? Currently I'm a MBH(respec)/MSmuggler and I had alot of problems just trying to take out a CL81 last night. I've got decent composite(not the 7k stuff, but good), a PSG and low SAC/good damage pistols so I'd like to think it's not my equiptment.
I'm not interested in hunting Jedi, just NPC's. So whatever suggestions anyone has I'm open to them.

Used it...
My stims were too weak though.

use duelist stance, use eye shot, anything to make him to hit less or do less damage

Ok, there's big difference between the normal yellow cons, the elite yellow cons, and the double elite (or boss) yellow cons. They might all be level 81 or 82, but no where near the same difficulty.
I agree that the normal yellow cons are a bit easy. All buffed up I can tear through them before they even get my health bar down 10%. My guess is that this is what the OP has been running into.
The elite cons are a bit tougher. You can tell the elite cons because they have white (or sliver) chevrons on either side of the name above their head (but not beside their name on their HAM bar, don't get confused). These would probably be better suited to being the lowest difficulty marks for these missions.
The double elites are tough. As a player who has succesfully hunted prepared, full template Jedi, I have to be on my toes for these guys. They require me to heal alot throughout the fight. They have enough health and a really high regen rate to make it a long fight, and they do a lot of damage when they hit (though if you have thyroid rupture from CM, I hear they don't hit you to often. I think either the OP hasn't run into these guys or is using that).
And btw, I use pistols, not rifles. So you don't need rifles at all to hunt these guys.

One more guy who is skilling the easymode template and then complains about the lack of a challenge? You guys begin to bore me. Drop cm and you see that you have a good and even fight.

with boss marks its almost even... they do about the same damage as a (nonjedi)player only they have 35k health

Lol, I've one box in cm. I heal more with my stims then I do with my abilities. Having stim-d's works fine in those kinds of fights and is all I would need. It's still too easy.
decent armor, great gun, novice cm/mbh/master carbs
for a challenge, i go to yavin iv and take on some lvl 88 black sun. after fighting two of those (not simultaneously) my health was at 300, i was full of food and drink, and nearly out of mind. i actually had to use tactics against them (run behind tree, heal, pop out for a shot or two, time kd's right, etc)
i vote for getting lvl 88 marks with no increase in loot - we get enough as it is.
