Thread: Stop Panicing Maybe we're jumping the gun! Let's chat about it!
- Faction must appear
- Only online Jedi
What else would help in the abscence of names on terminals?
- Ymo
Yeah, its like the Combat Upgrade all over again with everyone up in arms about somthing they hadn't even seen.
I think this will be fine as long as they allow me to see a marks online status. We already know the payout will be listed (although it wont give us an idea of thier level) so at least we will know what completing the mission will pay. Im sure we will know the marks name once we get the bio-sig so im good with these changes.

I think bh's should stop whining. If they make it so it doesnt show the name, the payout, the online status, and the faction, bounty hunting might actually be challenging. After all, it is not like bounty hunters lose anything from dying![]()
How can it be challenging when 80% of the Jedi will be tracked to locked, private structures? We're going to be wasting A LOT of time tracking down a mark only to find it unattackable.

It says nothing about getting their name with the biosig. I seriously doubt they will recode the dialog you get from the spynet informant to include the name of your specific mission target.
And theres nothing that says we wont get thier name with the biosig. We are not psychic and I think the Devs know that. At some point we will have to be told the Marks name. Whether by bio-sig or by droid.
The point is, we really know nothing yet so getting all up in arms screaming "Im cancelling!" isnt doing anybody any good.

stop saying these changes are good!! They are not good and they do not help anything. If they want to stop griefing, then put a timer on a player so they can't take the same jedi's mission in a certain amount of time, it's really not that hard and would not require these kinds of drastic changes. if they want to stop group hunts, just make it so that a jedi's mission can only be accepted once. seriously, these changes are NOT good for the game at all. please give me a good reason why they are and then tell me there are no other solutions, and maybe i will change my mind.
Putting a timer on my mission means I have to find my mark and kill him as soon as possible. I like to hunt and that means holding my mission for a few days until I decidewhen its bestto strike. You cant always just ride up on a Jedi and start blasting. Sometimes you have to plan things out.
Now for only allowing a mission to be accepted once, what happens if the jedi's friend or his/her alt picks up that one mission? It won't work that way.

The notes said nothing about it giving you their name later. I trust what I read.
I said put a timer so that you can only take someones mission once ina certain period of time. I did NOT say that you had a certain time to complete your mission, learn to read before you try to argue my post. And as for your other point, why not just make it 2 people then, instead of 5. So if the jedi really wants to make his alt a BH and then keep his own mission forever and have a wasted character, then at least 1 other person can take his mission. I do not know any bounty hunters that would keep someone elses mission just so they have immunity... if they would do that they are not a real bounty hunter, or they are whippppped. Why would you even become a BH if you didn't want to hunt jedi.... I for one would not hold my friends mission even if he paid me, I became a BH to hunt jedi so I'm not gonna bend over backwards so my friend could have a free ride. It doesnt work like that. Now someone else please give me some better reasons than this clown.
