I just realized, you could master Rifleman, Carbineer and Pistoleer, and still have more SP remaining than a BH does. Can someone double check my math?

Double checking-

Unless I'm mistaken a master rifleman, pistoleer, and carbineer required 92 Sps each, for a grand total of 274. While BH is only 217.

If getting blasted by a RL doesnt blind, stun, dizzy, intimidate, delay and KD your opponent after the CU, I am going to have some major issues....LOL

Was just thinking about that for some reason.....

The blasted thing basically ought to turn them into a steamingbig pile of goo, but I suppose that would be too much to ask.

Don't count on anything lol....CURB is about the basics, individual stuff after it (along with GCW revamp). Tho it would be REALLY nice, and very in place if they did make the RL do that...guess we won't find out till the Sandbox...

Edit: By individual stuff...I mean Individual Revamps...CURB focuses on core combat and profession roles...there may be some stuff that will need to be individually worked afterwards but aren't "essential"...we're gonna be totally Viable and hopefully uber post-CURB, but not all of our issues will be resolved...heh this is an MMO, there can never be a day without issues!

It's hard to have a civilized conversation on the Jedi boards about this so-called "Nerf". I just want to know why they see it as a nerf.

because of the fact that not only do heals take force, mind, and ACTION, but CM's and Docs have their mind costs reduced, and cool down timers reduced. And the speculation is that the cooldown timer is ridiciously high for force heal. Like 15 seconds. I can understand mind being added, but action too? I just don't get that.

and the fact that CM 4/x/x/x can heal better than force healing 4/x/x/x. Maybe not as strong, but can alternate between the 2 tosses, forgot which they are called, and heal full damage in under 10 seconds.

As a 4000 CM, I can say that we do have good heals... but they cost lots of Mind and moderate amounts of Action. Unless they drop the mind costs extremely, I doubt they'll be as good as Jedi heals. You can heal yourself back to full health with CM quickly, but you can't attack in that time, and you will suck your mind and action bars down hard.

true, but the mind/action costs for force heal have been up'd quite a bit. So now we heal at the same, if not lower than CMs ability to heal. They really should spread modifiers accross the boards, preventing jedi from going 4/x/x/x heal, and BH's going 4/x/x/x CM. So getting master is truly critical.

There's no doubt some changes had to be made. They seem to be on the right track, but it's a bit extreme for most people over there. People will adjust eventually, and if it's too nerfed, maybe the devs will change it the other direction slightly.
