Good thread & title man. I couldn't have asked for a better time spent being a bounty hunter. During my time playing this game, the majority of it was spent developing a solo portfolio of stalking and killing jedi players for in-game credits. I also created my guild named "House Salaktori" which some people might notice was a contracting agency on the bounty terminals.
I created <HS> recruiting solely MBH's with either Master Rifleman / Carbineer / or Pistoleer. The whole guild was centered around taking 206k - 226kand occasionally ranked jedi bounty missions together, stalking, and then eliminating the jedi knights on the terminals. That was the most exhilerating time in this game for me as was the few people who played for me in my guild.

Being a contract killer was great while it lasted and I'll greatly miss the people who I played with that shared my favorite part of this game. ( Mastro Andros Karaton SteedoCalraa & Fishjoe ) We were even fortunate enough to group hunt and eliminate the jedi corresponent Arjun, though we were called <MBH> at the time, making us instantly famous on our server. Here's the thread post from so long ago, during the golden era of bounty hunting for all veterans to enjoy.

Nothing like logging in and knowing that you are hunted. One of the many cool things about being a Jedi was being under the gun. (damn the carebears!)The extra thrill and excitement was a rush. Hats off to all the old school BH's and maybe it will be changed.

Theera is over guys. And each of us was a part of it. We actually participated in a game where we could customize our own characters within the starwars galaxy and become bounty hunters. Not only that but we could a take on other people'scharacters who had bounties on them. Apparently there will never be another game like this, so everyone be happy and rejoice in the fact that you were able to be a part of this. That, plus lets stick it to em even if we do run our armor back to the ash of the land.
Great point, seems soon we will be playing the third style of game under the SWG banner. It really feels like SWG3 with so many sweeping changes. For all the flaws of the original game and the CU I think many of us can be proud to say we flourished during these times, and at the very least had a great deal of fun. Hopefully that will continue in 3 weeks time when we're playing SWG3, can't say I have high hopes but I'll give it a shot

Since Village grinding is going away the next three weeks will be spent hunting Jedi like never before. I'll live, I'll die, I'll clone but I won't stop til the hunt is no longer an option.
