So I pull a mission from the term, see its on Kash, so I head over. I randomly check the right instance on my second try, i go town and tab, lands on a Jedi Knight. I don't get any /duel /endduels so I know he's afk. So I take my time and just start shooting. After I incap and DB one of his group members calls me a bottom feeder. Yup bottom feeding on a 221k mission who had a knight tag up, whom i also got a 171k payment bonus from the BH guild and about 8k investigation exp.
Its definately bottom feeding when you randomly pull a mission to an afk jedi that you get paid almost half a million credits for.
If that's bottom feeding, call me a scavenger, cause i can get rich doing this with little effort.

High level Jedi don't seem to grasp the fact that not having names on the terminals means they are as likely to be pulled as anyone else...well SOME high level Jedi anyway.
Bounty Hunter grouping is not impossible either...much, much, MUCH more difficult, but not impossible. how do i know? two bounty hunters came for my toon just a couple of days ago. they worked as a great team to wear down and eventually defeat my full template toon.
Jedi need to keep their eyes open at all times. this is not to say 'walk around paranoid' but alert and at one's keyboard at least.
there is that old saying:
just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after you.

I'm sorry for my moronic brethren and their moronic friends.
NO Jedi, none of us, has anything vaguely resembling a right to gripe, moan or complain about bottom-feeding anymore.
If you're a Jedi, or you have a friend who's a Jedi and he gets geeked by a BH, I don't care if he only has novice saber, shut the hell UP with that bottom-feeding nonsense.

Not all of us do this bro, other than that good job, AFK'ers need to be killed.
What was the 171K for? was that the bonus for being the first to kill him after so many attempts?

Word.
And with group vis fixed, there is no reason to be on the terminals until you choose to be there.
Oh yea, Kudos's on killin an AFK'er. AFK combat grinders should be shot down, repeatedly, constantly.

WTG Ohetie. I have a jedi and applaud you for this effort.
What sickens me about others in my profession is the complaints about a BH coming for you. BAH. That is the risk you take for having a chance to get to full template where in all honesty it is a fun place to be.
I've been working on my jedi casually for about 10 months now. I'm about 8 boxes short of full template and have made sure to steer clear of all the exploits those in my class have taken on to level faster (Endor 0,0 - Jedyyk - etc.)
It is my hope the BH's on all the servers will unite and get their butts to Jedyyk before the next publish. Take each and everyone of those afk'rs and put them into negative xp hell.
See how well they do once the next publish is in and they have to earn the profession.
BTW, I have enjoyed the two times I've been hunted very much. Very thrilling for me on my end as I'm a padawan. No combat has yet ensued as I managed to escape each time, but it has been fun nonetheless.

Not quite true... we don't even know if it's working right, what about 2 more weeks till people whose got no vis at all since group vis patch should clear from the terms... I have my doubts vis is even working right, people that have been gone for months get back and were hunted right away

the jedi was flukie
as for the extra 171k i'm not sure, but i guess it was a bonus cause he hasn't been killed in a while?
as for me making the assumption as to the /duel /endduel, i suppose you're correct, but i usually get a barrage of them from players that are at their keyboard whenever i run down the trail.
as for visibility, i thought that jedi couldn't kill npcs cause they'd get vis? if so, wouldn't them killing the ferals add to their vis?

well due from mass jedi slaying the last week before pub20, I believe I can safely assume I wasnt on the terms then. Didnt use any jedi skills and was on Lok or Tat so easily assessable for a BH. none came when I would normally get at least 1 per day.
Been careful since as I cannot take a cl80 BH with my weak noobjedi.
And Ohetie, Ferals are NPC's thus give vis. the rryyat grinders believe they are still safe as many BH will not go there to get their mark. and your prolly right about that 171k being a bonus.
