hi Ive been a bh for a coupla months now, and i still havent mannaged to beta jedi. unfortunately i seem only to pull full template master defenders (usually form the elite guild) or the guy is in a house all night.
Either way i get my arse handed to me or i dont fight at all.
i am mannaging to keep about 2 mill in the bank but most of the time cost is dragging me sdown, i make more mney from than do from bh. i want to fight and win agianst jedi, but hey what bh doesnt really?
npc missions are borin as hell and the loot ssucks here on radiant. all i ever getis mando frames and delicate triggers.
my template is master bh, master carbineer and im working the med tree for combat medic 4000 but am currently only medic 0300, ho ever i supplement my lack of healing abillitie witth 1500 stims and ruby biel.
ive been experimenting with types off food to try and get an edge includin neutrino pixies and ooster blue spice to augment them. my most recent experiment was vassarian brandy, pikkata pie , aircake.
it didnt seem very effective.
i adkd my proton carb, which depending on what i useas apup can be up to doo odd dps. however after fighting another elite master defender, and dying pretty damn quick i checked here at the forums and read about using a nym's carb. after looking at my own i looked for one with better stats i found one.
with a spd pup on it and unsliced it had a mod dps of 500.04
so equiped in katarn battle armour a psg , sporting my new nym carb and drugge of my tree i headed off to yavin for my next sth assasination attempt. turned out id be crashin a wedding at a the sith force ranking place on yavin (not proud of this i wouldnt like to have my own player event spoiled by some bh) so after dulest stane kding the bride, i quickly realised i was going to get whooped again. the nym's wasnt being very effective at all and when my ruby biel buggd again it was all over.
The elite guild(probably being so used to seeing me by now) wer nice enough to res me (or maybe they just didnt want a corpse waiting to be resd by anpther inteloper) and i was on my way from another defeat.
so pls aid me in my time of need!

My advise would be to wait until your mark is at a disadvantage. Be that tanking for a group, dueling another player, whatever. To go after a dull temp who is rested and at full power is suicide.

Get 7000 energy resist battlearmor from your local armorsmith, and then get it 75% armorbreak sliced from your local smuggler
Run BH missions to get Enhanced Power Cells for a Elite Carbine
Forget the PSG, as they dont help against melee, and instead pick up a no decay marbari belt and load it with mods
I would recommend getting 4/x/x/x CM before hunting jedi
Foods, least IMO, I would take: Canape + Booster blue + Pikatta + Vayerbok + Vegaspaerine (+100 so melee defense) + Spiced Tea
Or, alternately you can get x/x/x/4 CM, get some healing foods, clothes, and a healing droid, and lay the best speed and snare debuff in the game on your mark. Course you wont heal as well, but you'll do fine, least i have been

ROTMFLMAO!!! I have to say after mycouple monthsreading these forums this is one of the funnies things I've heard. The mental image is priceless! AHAHAA!! Thanks now my whole office is staring at me, but it was worth it.
Back to the topic at hand, I'd follow the advice above and try to get some custom armor with as much energy and AB resistance as possible. Sounds like you're dropping a lot of creds on guns and none on armor. Hope this helps and good luck at the next wedding!!

if you aint got the riight equiptment you will have a hard time.
i have a bh/doc alt he aint got the right stuff n he coudl never kill a jedi
imo the 2 most important pices are your gun and armour break slice

oh also I might be mistaken but you shouldn't bother with the PSG, since sabers bypass them.

well thanks for the advice guys im cm2000 at the min, in respects to armour i findits insanley ove rpriced on radiant server and by comparrison the rate at which it decays is laughable. but ill shop around.

stalk them... spend as much time as needed... don't let them know what you're up to. heck i've see wearin n00b clothes and carryin a CDEF work to the jedi's disadvantage. Just have to be creative. Most jedi are only on their toes occasionally... like if a blue dot appears. *hint*hint* just keep an eye on 'em and you'll catch 'em off guard... trust me
