I am BattleMaster at 3-4-3-3

I have the most elite swords and hammers I can find. My swords of which I bought 5 average 300dmg at 2.3 seconds. Power Hammers 570 at about 5.2...

With the Hammer I've put 3000 bleeds on monsters' minds. With a good hit most lower level things die in 1 shot. With 2 or 3 goot mind shots most high level things die unless they kill me first which happens quite a bit.

Now I'm thinking about surrendering Melee altogether

Why? Because PvP is a part of this game, and Melee can't do squat in PvP unless you get lucky or you're Master CH. I picked up CH just so I could make a tiny difference, I've noticed now that I've moved up in Creature Handling and using high level creatures they're doing more damage than I am. If they don't see me and I can sneak up on them and slam with the sword, that can do some damage at -75% but then they neutralize me by moving then the TARGET IS OUT OF RANGE starts to flash around weeee so glad I was enamoured with this profession.

I love the two hand sword... the titles... the difficulty in getting Master 2h sword. But it's broken and some of the things that are broken like the spatial lag and difference in apparent position and actual position I don't think they'll ever be able to fix.

Maybe I'll change my mind and stay, I'll at least reach Master Heavy Sword first and see what that's like. However I'll also start working on a ranged class.

That's why this game rules! If you become dissatisfied with how your current skills are working or if you want a different playstyle, you can change professions WITHOUT re-rolling a new character.

CH is what i did my secondary in for PvP and needless to say I'm a bit envious of my pets! I'm going to finish 2H if it kills me (excuse the irony). Then... dunno.. I was lit on fire quite a few times the other day in a raid and it was pretty intimidating to us.. since he could smoke up about 5 of us and the effect lasted for about 10 minutes. There seems to be no cure for it either.

I had also picked up some med skills just for last little poke but its kind of shameless to have to do that.

who knows where this goes now that Gorrecki resigned... I'm kind of rowing to shore at this point if you get my drift (oops.. did it again)

I agree...I like 2H sword, even after the posture change timer destroyed half our skills. But the netcode/out of range message is a huge, underlying problem with the game that I don't think is ever going to be fixed

Carbineer sounds pretty good to me right about now...

Hey, this just kinda makes me sick. I am a lesser swordsman than you. 1/1/0/1. and i can take out atleast a couple imps before i get killed, and have a great deal of fun doing it. I have no other combat profession either. I just have medic and scout. I dish out more damage than anyone else i see except more powerfull swordsmen and commandos. Commandos will most likely get nerfed too with everyone complaining about them (not just us brawlers for a change). I mean if you enjoy being a swordsman but only feel the need to drop it for on aspect of the game, that just seems pointless to me. I'm in this profession for the long run and when all of you lazy people drop your swords and take the easy route, i will feel that much more proud because i will be a member of one of the rarest professions. I can see it now, you drop it all for BH and your pvping one day and out of nowhere a swordsman runs up behind you and fells you in 2 hits. Then you think to yourself, "goddamnit, that could havebeen me gloating about busting someone up with a cool looking sword in a broken profession against all odds, but i dropped it long ago". This is when you look at your little wussy pistol and start crying. Man i love being a swordsman!

rofl i dropped tka cuz i was tired of being the center of nerfs i picked up swordsmen cuz i just love swords ect im so glad i did im having tons of fun people think we suck when we really dont you just gotta think outside the box .... dont let people your fighting draw you off your game plan you make THEM play your game .. and nothing makes me happier then when i own up 5 faction pets the good ones at a time then loot 250 cred from each one after im done and hear the complains from the owners right before i db making them watch me kill thier pets is fun =P now if i could only solo a at st =o /dream

i absolutely LUV swordsman, but i havnt been able to play post kd patch, so i don how it is to b without the area attacks, seems sad tho.

i don care if were as good in combat as a chef tho, im keepin swordsman.

and morath, carbineer is a great idea, just dont give up swordsman. carbines have high ham when it comes to ranged, lol, on their forums they act like a ham cost of 60 or 80 is a lot, lol, they dont even know the meaning of high ham.

also, if ur gonna b both a carbineer swordsman, u gotta b willing to drop master doc, and i understand that is a hard thing to do, but if u do, kepp the two lines on the left, of course, but u probly already knew that

We arent smoking anything. Obviously our stratagies are just better than yours, making you take up a ranged profession simply because you are lazy. Go whine elsewhere, the REAL swordsmen dont want to hear it.

Well us being gimped is a misconception. "we are only gimped if..and only if you belive we are gimped" You obviously belive so and belive we dont make a differance in PVP...Well trust me i say we do make a BIG differance. At first i thought melee was gimped and never tried to PVP then at the begining of september i kept a track in my profile of ever duel i had mostly with marksmen and bounty hunters and my record is about 8-3 so far. I also keep track of how many DB's i have in the GCW since Septemebet 7th i have had 55 imperial Deathblows.

On the 7th i went into bestine, took out my Power hammer and killed 1 bounty hunter a Ch a TKA and 2 other marksmen( didnt catch their titles) WITHOUT dying until one of them clone and got me while i as low on health now a 5 on 1 like that and killing every single one of them is not something a marksmen could have done in the same situation. I seem to come out of every raid with no less then 5kills (including commandos) and my hammer is always welcomed against an ST

if you had any healing abilites you prolly wouldnt have lost to the bind rusher one thing i love doing is finding some people all bunched up run in and AE 3 with power hammer you wanna talk about ownage? =p well if i dont miss alot which i normally dont
