Can anyone become a Jedi?
Yes, anyone can follow the path of the Jedi but like all professions mastery will require time and experience. The new Jedi profession will be equal in combat effectiveness with the other professions.
Will Bounty Hunter missions and other missions still be located on my datapad?
Yes, you will still see mission terminal quests on your datapad. However, there will no longer be Bounty Hunter missions that target other players, they are only NPC based going forward, and these will appear in your Quest Journal.
It amazes me that all these jedi don't understand that they are a normal profession now, just like the rest of us. They will be no better. Not uber like they are now.
I for one am outta here. There is no way I want to play in this new world.

If you got your kicks from hurting other players, then good riddance.
2 years as a MBH -- Even when I eventually ended up with a Jedi I used it as a support character for bounty hunting (great for loot) and now it is over.
I am truly stunned -- NPC missions and that is it

hurting lol...Jedi have hurt this game more than anyone except maybe the designers.
but, yes, I will indeed go nut with player missions now. win or loose, we all get nerfed.
once this goes live, I guess I will resort to accepting the duels from the jedi dueling at the starport. too bad I won't get paid if I win

I feel bad for all the post cuII jedi who spent their hours grinding away at the computer, only to be given jedi for free!

Well, it was fun while it lasted. I knew that as Jedi got nerfed more and more the player bounties had the danger of going away!!!.Three more weeks of Jedi hunting left, I guess. Head for the terminals folks!!!
It will be interesting to see if the game will be more fun, focus groups have been known to be wrong before.
No offense Tanks but you had to expect, with all the bitching and exploiting on both sides, it was only a matter of time. Every other MMORPG that has tried forced PVP has eventually removed it from the game. No different here.
