Thread: So this Jedi hires me for a job...

You are gonna love this...
So I'm in AH grinding Rebel faction points, when I get this tell from a Jedi I know. This Jedi (who identity will remain confidential) told me to meet him in bestine inside the canteen. So when I get there he tells me he wantsto hire me toassassinate another Jedi. I say sure, but I can't guarantee I will get the mission you want because of the way the terms are setup. He tells me that he does not care who I get just get his name after you find him and tell me who he is. So, he gives me 100k and off I go to the terms.
I pull the mark and track John Q. Jedi to the krayt graveyard on TAT. I do a drive by and get his name and send the the tell back to my employer.Few hours go by and I recive a tell from him. He tells me to meet him in Theed right away. I get there quick because I'm already on naboo. I get there and tell him that I have arrived and he tells me to stand by. He calls back and tells me to go to the top of the square and find the mark. I do as he says, I find the mark and tell him that I have a visual.My employerappears to bedueling the Mark andHe tells me to jump him when he give me the green light to do so. So I wait a few minutes and I can see they are really going at it. Suddenly he says NOW! I hit the poor Jedi hard and fast and he dies quick...real quick.
My employer starts putting on a show for the crowd. He calls me a noob and does the /spit thing. I just take a bow and walk away. The Jedi tips another 100k and sent me a tell thanking me. I tell him No problem. Then I had to ask him why (not that I cared just made almost 400k). He told me some crap about FSR...stupid if you ask me but a nice payday to say the least.

dude thats sweet. I'm going to see if my brother will do that for me. You do know though that jedi will start yelling exploit don't you lol.

Cool story, what would be really sweet is if we could get contracts from other players. But so it doesn't get outta hand there would need to be some sort of consequence.

I like to think it was more Role Playing...Anyhow I got paid, thats the most important detail.

had something along those lines happen to me awhile back while before i started playing on shadowfire. i get my mission from the term and find out my mark is on kashyyyk and by this time i've gotten pretty good and getting them on trail,so i proceed to the trail and always just strat at instance 1 and work my way through them unill i find my mark. well i ender the first instance and ge to the wookie spot and do a quick scan no mark so i walk to down to the bridge and double check again no mark, so i do my /unstick to leave and i get a tell from this jedi asking me who i'm looking for, so i give him the name of my mark and i start to enter instance 2 when i get a tell from the jedi that say "he's in instance 4". at first i think it's odd that he just ratted out a fellow jedi but i think he it wroth a look so i go to instance 4 and sure enough there is my mark so i move in and get my kill and credits.
a few mins later the "informant" sends me tell asking me if i got him and i said yes and thanked him for the tip off and offered some credits for it and he turned the credits and said the only reason eh told me was because they had gotten into an argument and he was still po'd at the guy. so from time to time when my mark was on kash i'd send a tell to jedi to find where my marks where, and he'd tell if he knew as long as i didn't hunt him or some of his friends. kinda cool haveing a inside guy.

When i talk to my brother he is going to think this is a sweet idea. As far as it getting out of hand, oh well.they will just have to make it so NO ONE and I MEAN NO ONE can attack or be attacked by the mark jedi while the bh has his mission lol. I don't mind splitting the reward either. Hell I've seen 8 jedi gank regular guys all the time, true the dude was SF but still they can't whine and cry about being gank and then do it themselves. All the friend jedi needs to do is weaken or incap and i move in for the kill lol this is going to make for an interesting weekend.

I assume the Jedi means FRS, which is force rank system.... it works similar to the combat rating system for dark jedi.... more they kill, higher rating they get... once they get high enough, they get bonuses to stuff and become guardians and master jedi. There is a little more to it than that..... but that's the jist.
Only problem is, the FRS has been turned off ever since the curb. So that's a lame excuse.
Either the guy doesn't know FRS is turned off, or he is lying about his motive.
