Is it just me... or do Jedi do this just to annoy(not the word i wanted to use) the hell out of us? Afk. In their house. With a chat macro to stop them getting kicked out of the game.

Especialy since I started BHing yesterday, and have yet to kill someone
(I faced 2 jedi who fought back (i.e. not in their house (both killed me))).
I dont mind losing, but having them hide from me is pathetic.
Theres not much else I can say, only that it drives me nuts. Nerf Houses.

Yes, this is like a "sit in". The problem is more with the game mechanics then the player.

I knew someone woulds say that. Yes, it is, because people do it to delibrately piss us off. IMHO players should be automatically dissconnected from the server or be automatically moved outside a building which is currently set as private if they spend a certain amount of time inside it.
Maybe add a popup window or something warning people how long they have left to 'update' their non afkness in their house/medcenter/whatever so people non deserving of this dont get kicked outside.

/cancels mission....gets a new one.
Sure it's annoying, but I have no tiime for them.

the theory behind the house sit in is:
forced pvp sucks, and by causing the bh to waste time on them, another jedi is off the hook.
as long as pvp is loose/loose for jedi, expect to see things like this

To change the game dynamic specifically to jedi, introduces a profession bias and that's not good. What if I am inside my house arranging furniture with an AFK put up to fend off /tells? Or if I am crafting, chatting with a guildie? What if I am sitting there, while checking these very forums?
If any OTHER profession were doing ANY of these things, would there be any issue with it? I see AFK macro chatting/emoting people by the dozens at any starport in game. Why then would Jedi be singled out? Because we are YOUR "content"? Please consider what you suggest. We do not need to introduce profession bias.

Well, I goAFK quite a bit, and sometimes for hours. I have a nice /fiddle macro that keeps me alive. I usually do this anywhere I need to, but Jedi can't, so they go into a house. I have no problem with it.

+1. If I have to run out for an errand for a bit, I loop a "nap" macro. Since I'm not a jedi, I just sit down in a star port or wherever. No problem if a jedi is afk in their house. I know I'd be in a secure location if I had to afk as a Jedi

well when i was playing my jedi and got killed AFK and the BH told me i should have been in my house (i agree eisley is stupid place to go afk but i needed food), it kind of contradicts it when some BH say if jedi want to be afk go in houses whereas others feel annoyed that jedi do so

LOL!!! Yes, we do it to deliberately piss you off. I just refuse to use my super powerful Jedi abilities /forceHoldPiss or /makeWifeLeaveMeAlone or /makeThoseKidsShutTheHellUp. It's all about you. It's a Great Big Let's Piss Adoraz Off Conspiracy!!!

LOL how is he TRYING to tick you of? YOU came for them... and just because you can pull their mission dosen't obligate them to wait round to entertain you... lol NOOB
Besides.. you muggles always gripe and moan that Jedi are running rampant ll over the place. Ruining pvp... but then in the same breath you get all snippy when they hide out and play the recluse....

Jedi in this timeframe are supposed to be hermits in their house.
They are being a good little hermit Jedi. Drop mission and find someone not being a hermit, like let's say showing off in a starport.
