Thread: Finally my first Kill

Finally after 3 legit hunts ,a few aborted ones do to faction, and a few feigners I have my first kill.
It was a lower level Jedi who's mission I took for personal reasons. He was an imp and I was reb. When adding him to my friends list I made a freudian mistake of telling him.
After considering aborting ,then I realize that me and the Jedi were having a good conversation and he says
"you seam like a cool guy , I'm adding you to my friends list"
I had to do it.
So I continue with our nice talk for a few hours giving him real advice how to avoid BH's and stuff
I say stuff like " You should hunt in groups , and Join a guild " " Feign death really helps tood"
To which he responds " Yeah Im in (insert guild) and still looking for a group " "I didnt want to grind pistols so I didnt get Feign "
Giving me critical info I need.
He tells me he went to endor thinking it was safe , which it isnt to bad of a place to grind
I get there and we continue talking.
I finally get to his position move up beind him while he is off his speeder . Take out his speeder and then go for him. A few quick eye shots bleeds while he Force Runs and heals and he is incapped . Then I get attacked by a mob of those Big NPC grassland things. Because he morphs away I cant DB and he smartly use force of will thinking I was destracted. I get take care of the mob another eye shot while Im chasing him and get the kill.
I hop on my bike and ride away knowing his group is close by. I get a bunch of "WT EFs's Im so pissed ATM" from his crew and I simply say "its my job" "protect your friend better"
In good nature of the GCW they vow to hunt me down and kill me.
probly didnt have to do all that to get the kill on low level Jedi , but that was more about practicing and the over all fun of it.

Hehe...I actually got a jedi to come to me by saying I had a clear crystal I wanted rated (jedi was on a bike off in the distance while I talked with his alt at his camp).
Funny thing is, I actually did have a clear crystal and I did want him to rate it, but, I guess because of the tef, I couldn't trade with him.
....So I killed him instead
This kill was actually quite the story of deception and my funnest to date.

[Player for over a year (dabbler in many professions, aways working to MBH) I've hunted jedi before, got v v close to kills but no actual payout, spend a lot of time not killing same faction...]
So ther i was on dant, doing a crapo misson for some NPC when i see a Jedi in robes afk (yeah i know a jedi
not on Kash!?!) standing near a lair.. So i think, if you are on a standard swoop path grindin afk, you
deserve to get whooped. I finish the mission, swoop and starport back to Dearic (my personal fave) and look
for his mission. Cant find it, think ok, next 100k-200k (still as yet i have to prove my jedi killing skills)
that i find i'll hunt. Up comes a 136k.. so i see if he is online and take his mission.
Huzza he is on Dant! So i head there, shuttle to his town and head to the nearest merchant tent. whist
scanning for my mark. There he is in his house right beside me... pause... ok he's prob not gonna come out and
i am about to drop his mission. Then he says:
hi...
me? i respond trying to look nonchalant..
Someone else appears and a number of other IMPS appear on my radar… damn I think, I cant recall the new city ban rules.. it’s then that I notice the “ [Town] does not welcome bounty hunters statues. "Bounty Hunters ill be banned on site!!!” So I think I’ll play it calm… go toa mall I ask, I’m looking for a spare swoop, they don’t buy it for a second but my mark sends me a tell saying that he has swoops on his vendor. So buy a swoop and run a couple of Mokk missions, try to look inconspicuous. Doesn’t work.
So the mark says,
I know you are a BH, lets just fight..

And I know you have my mission, [he has tried the /duel trick]

Now I’m Cl80 and this chap is 53odd and I think I’m gonna kick his ass… not really much of a challenge… So he doc buffs and food buffs himself (like he did when I first shuttle in) and runs out to fight me.
So here I am in my crappy battle/assault armour get up, two massive armour holes (both ranged cyberarms) and a proton carb.
The mark stands before me, all buffed and with his defensive states on… I pop a pyro and the health crystal and root the chap, blam blam blam, incap.

Ok say I, you are worth 136k on the terms, he stands up, lightnings me, some kind of drain I think, not sure, and saber hits me a couple of times.

No sign of this cash… Ok, no, not taking this, BLAM BLAM BLAM, incap. He gets up, heals and runs to his house, heals.
His jedi pal is saying that I’m all talk blah blah blah, (this I find very funny after the double incap)
“No I can take him” says the mark. HAHAHAHA I think, I’ve still got over 4k health at this time… Out he comes, I kick his (buffed beyond belief – never have I seen so many icons under a persons name)ass down to 600 or so health and at this point another BH appears, hits for 500 and then my bleed kicks in, incaps for the third time the mark and I get my bounty.
I salute him for his bravery, bow and head to go…
Other 225+k jedi challenges me to a duel and kicks my ass, [but I was in his saber range, wearing the wrong armour, and on my incorrect toolbar for kd recover.. oops]
So here I am about to leave, and I get all this trash talk and my initial mark is talking crap again, “ooo duel me 1 on 1” ok I say, rest up and heal, then duel him again, kick his ass and he runs to the house… I end duel and wander off.
He then accuses me of continually running away and shooting from afar.. implying that this is unfair on him…
So for a giggle I duel him standing right beside him, INTIMIDATE, BLAM, BLAM, BLAM, KD, BLAM BLAM BLAM incap him again! I bow, wander off (get citybanned in the process, and still he is suggesting that if I didn’t run to range at all then he would have won.
Arn't bounty hunters a ranged profession... ah well

Well I don’t care, I got my kill, my 136k and the satisfaction proving to myself that I killed a jedi, not just once but 3 fully healed jedi (albeit CL50odd), but THEN a double incap via duel.
Plus the fun of killing other faction jedi.

nice work. My first Jedi bounty was for 136k as well. I always choose to ignore the trash talking and walk away, since for some reason Jedi always make it seem that we shouldnt be hunting them..... BH is a profession and they knew it before becomming Jedi so enough of the bs. But anyways, good work, and from now on ignore the trash talk and get used to being banned in alot of cities, some of which you can weasel your way out of from talking nice and what not.

Congratulations to you, not only for the kill, but for taking the high road.
There are some honerable jedi out there, but the ones that think they should be able to kill you every time, and that you are cheap/an exploiter when they can't, give the rest of them a bad name.
