Thread: I Can Match Jedi, But

They always run, cloak, orlog after like 5-10 mins of fighting. It's gotten to the point that I would be winning ALL of my missions, but I can't seem to beat them in a timely fashion.
I just had a mission on Lok, where a Jedi was grinding gurks with a group. I engaged him, and fought for maybe 10 mins before he probably got low on force and ran. Same thing happened like twice, then he logs. Should I get a higher damage pistol, I'm using a sliced Featherweight now. Also, knockdowns are getting pretty useless since they can heal while Kded. I once got him to about 1/4 health and KDed, where I would've finished him, but he heals to full. I know about the 1.5x more powerful thing, but this is getting ridiculous. They shouldn't be allowed to log off without penalty. Any tips?

You can't have it all your own way, we get first strike advantage, you can't force anyone to fight, its their option to run and punishing someone for choosing to exit the game is nuts.

Just face it dude...Jedi are teh pwner's...they dont have much of a problem dealing with BH's. A full templated Jaydi will win 90 percent of the time. can i have your stuff now?

Not necessarily. I'd say that I win against full templates 80% of the time, and the 20% is a mix of flukes (about 10% of that, and 10% of me doing something stupid like not going in with my PvP foods or something.)

I have also beaten full temps. Maybe it's you that should quit if you lose that often.

Excuse me? If I want to log out of a game to do real life stuff I should be punished for it? You can hold the mission for 3 days, you dont need to kill a Jedi in the first encounter, if a Jedi can log out you lost the BH TEF, fight better next time.
If a Jedi escapes you one time you know how he escaped - was it Force Cloak, was it Advanced Force Run, was it just Root / KD / Burstrun? Use that to plan your next assault. Or just drop the mission if you are not into hunting, but just killing.

Not necessarily. I'd say that I win against full templates 80% of the time, and the 20% is a mix of flukes (about 10% of that, and 10% of me doing something stupid like not going in with my PvP foods or something.)

You're full of it. Jedi are better...BOTTOM LINE. If you think you can kill fulltemps 80% of the time, i'll tell you why...its because you engage them while they are fighting or low on force im sure. OBVIOUSLY BH dont have to fight fair..but for you to say that jedi are not the best profession in the game just seems out of line.
Engage a full temp jedifair and square and i garauntee he kills you within 5 minutes. I have killed full temps myself, and i have some rediculously awesome weapons, but i have 16 jedi kills post CU, and 14 of those are against full temps.I do not make a habit of attacking jedi while they are grinding, and i prefer to fight them fair and square when they know i am coming for them..but i wont lie, they usually kill me. Out of my 14 full temp jedi kills, i would say i have died about 200x.
There is no doubt that they are the better/stronger character. And well they should be! I am not saying its not impossible to kill jedi, because i have 14/200 K/D ratio, so it IS possible...but i just find it hard to believe that you kill 80% of every full temp you fight, with an addition 10% of fights that you WOULD have won but you messed up. Thats a 90% win ratio for you against full temps...fight them fair and square like i said and i bet your ratio will drop to mine...

Jedi should NOT be punished for hiding in a house and logging off. I can't believe you think they should.
You must be under the impression that you are the only BH after them. Ihave seen jedi that have told me that i was the 9th BH after them in their 1st3 hours of loggin on. Thats like, your a jedi, you log on, and you have a BH after you every 15 minutes!
Everytime a BH like us comes after them, it gets in the way of them playing the game...unless they are those jedi who live to fight BHs =)
So i dont think jedi should be penalized for logging off, its just the way it is. Sorry man.

there is no way you are catching so many jedi unprepared, and / or low on force.
i think u might not know what a full temp IS! unless u can show me 220k+ reward SS's, a lot of them, and then ill call u the best BH in SWG...

have you played jedi w/o a good saber? the devs dont want jedi to be wrroth a darn, they want us all the be docs/cm for heals.
